Abstract
Products and processes are provided in which information is received about a post for an item to be sold. The information may include type data identifying the item for sale as being a specific type of item. Based on the received type data, a posting payment amount is determined.
Claims

a processor; and a storage device operatively coupled to the processor and containing instructions configured to direct the processor to:
offer a posting award for personal description data of a person:
receive the personal description data from a client device;
post at least a portion of personal description data on a posting site; and
in response to receiving the personal description data, cause the at least a portion of the personal description data to be featured prominently on the posting site, wherein the posting award includes the prominent featuring.
2 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the personal description data is received via a Web page.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the personal description data comprises a resume.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the personal description data comprises at least one of a particular job skill or particular job experience.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the personal description data comprises a dating profile.
6 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the personal description data comprises at least one of income data or marital status data.
7 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein posting at least a portion of the personal description data includes generating a Web page indicating personal description data and snaking the Web page accessible for display.
8 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further configured to direct the processor to determine that the personal description data is accurate.
9 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein determining that the personal description data is accurate includes receiving feedback data concerning the personal data from a plurality of users and analyzing the feedback data.
10 . The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the personal description data comprises a product review.
11 . A method comprising:
offering, by a computing device, a posting award for personal description data of a person; receiving, by the computing device, the personal description data from a client device; posting, by the computing device, at least a portion of the personal description data on a posting site; and in response to receiving the personal description data, causing, by the computing device, the at least a portion of the personal description data to be featured prominently on the posting site, wherein the posting award includes the prominent featuring.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the personal description data is received via a Web page.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the personal description data comprises a resume.
14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the personal description data comprises at least one of a particular job skill or particular job experience.
15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the personal description data comprises a dating profile.
16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the personal description data comprises at least one of income data or marital status data.
17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein posting at least a portion of the personal description data comprises:
generating a Web page indicating personal description data; and making the Web page accessible for display.
18 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
determining that the personal description data is accurate.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein determining that the personal description data is accurate comprises:
receiving feedback data concerning the personal data from a plurality of users; and analyzing the feedback data.
20 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the personal description data comprises a product review.
21 . A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, which when executed by one or more processors cause the one or more processors to perform operations, comprising:
offer a posting award for personal description data of a person; receive the personal description data from a client device; post at least a portion of the personal description data on a posting site; and in response to receiving the personal description data, cause the at least a portion of the personal description data to be featured prominently on the posting site, wherein the posting award includes the prominent featuring.
22 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the personal description data is received via a Web page.
23 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the personal description data comprises a resume.
24 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the personal description data comprises at least one of a particular job skill or particular job experience.
25 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the personal description data comprises a dating profile.
26 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the personal description data comprises at least one of income data or marital status data,
27 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein posting at least a portion of the personal description data includes generating a Web page indicating personal description data and making the Web page accessible for display.
28 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 21 , wherein the instructions further cause the one or more processors to determine that the personal description data is accurate.
29 . The non-transitory machine-readable storage medium of claim 28 , wherein determining that the personal description data is accurate includes receiving feedback data concerning the personal data from a plurality of users and analyzing the feedback data.
