Abstract
A system and method for providing redundant customer communications delivery using hybrid delivery channels is provided. In one configuration, the system utilizes an initial delivery channel to send a batch of customer communications and later utilizes a different, delayed backup delivery channel to reseed only a subset of those communications as deemed necessary.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A computer implemented method for providing selective redundant customer communications using a computer, a first communications channel and a second communications channel, the method comprising:
creating, using the computer, a document for delivery to an intended recipient using a first communications channel; determining, by the computer, that a response has not been received from the intended recipient within a predetermined time period after the document has been received by the intended recipient; and resending, using the computer, the document to the intended recipient using a second communications channel.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first communications channel comprises an electronic delivery channel, the second communications channel comprises a physical delivery channel and the document comprises a periodic statement.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the response includes an indication that the intended recipient has made a payment related to the periodic statement.
4 . A computer system for providing selective redundant customer communications using a first communications channel and a second communications channel comprising:
a computer processing subsystem configured to create a document for delivery to an intended recipient by a first communications channel; a computer processing subsystem to determine that a response has not been received from the intended recipient within a predetermined time period after the document has been received by the intended recipient; and a computer processing subsystem for resending the document to the intended recipient using a second communications channel.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the first communications channel comprises an electronic delivery channel, the second communications channel comprises a physical delivery channel and the document comprises a periodic statement.
6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the response includes an indication that the intended recipient has made a payment related to the periodic statement.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
