Electronic device and information processing program

Abstract

There is provided an electronic device and an information processing program, which may provide a user with information about functions of the electronic device without stress to the user. The electronic device includes: a holding section holding plural pieces of function-introductory information each concerning a plurality of functions of the electronic device; a determination section selecting one out of the plural pieces of function-introductory information, and determining the selected piece of function-introductory information as transmission information to be transmitted to an external display device; and an output section outputting the transmission information.

         2 . An electronic device comprising:
 a reception section to receive a selected piece of function-introductory information transmitted as transmission information from another electronic device external to the electronic device, wherein the selected piece of function-introductory information is selected from plural pieces of function-introductory information each concerning a plurality of functions of the another electronic device stored at the another electronic device; and   a display controller to control display of the selected piece of function-introductory information on a display of the electronic device,   in which the transmission information enables the selected piece of function-introductory information to be displayed on the display and not displayed on the another electronic device.   
     
     
         3 . The electronic device according to  claim 2 ,
 a storage section to store the transmission information, and   wherein the reception section is to receive, when detection of a utilization determination signal follows transmission of the selected piece of function-introductory information, a piece of function-briefing information transmitted from the another electronic device and corresponding to the selected piece of function-introductory information, the utilization determination signal representing a determination to utilize a function introduced by the selected piece of function-introductory information.   
     
     
         4 . The electronic device according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the reception section is to receive, when detection of a utilization determination signal follows transmission of the selected piece of function-introductory information, another selected piece of function-introductory information for introducing another function as the transmission information transmitted from the another electronic device, said another function being different from a function introduced by the selected piece of function-introductory information, the utilization determination signal representing a determination to utilize said another function.   
     
     
         5 . The electronic device according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the selected piece of function-introductory information is selected out of the plurality of function-introductory information based on a current condition of operation by a user or a history of operation by the user.   
     
     
         6 . The electronic device according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein two or more pieces of function-introductory information selected out of the plural pieces of function-introductory information are the transmission information, and   the reception section receives a control signal transmitted from the another electronic device, the control signal allowing the electronic device to display on the display the two or more function-introductory information in random order.   
     
     
         7 . A storage medium in which an information processing program is stored, the information processing program allowing a computer:
 to receive, at an electronic device having the computer, a selected piece of function-introductory information transmitted as transmission information from another electronic device external to the electronic device, wherein the selected piece of function-introductory information is selected from plural pieces of function-introductory information each concerning a plurality of functions of the another electronic device stored at the another electronic device; and   to control display of the selected piece of function-introductory information on a display of the electronic device,   in which the transmission information enables the selected piece of function-introductory information to be displayed on the display and not displayed on the another electronic device.   
     
     
         8 . The storage medium according to  claim 7 , wherein the program allowing the computer:
 to store the transmission information; and   to receive, when detection of a utilization determination signal follows transmission of the selected the piece of function-introductory information, a piece of function-briefing information transmitted from the another electronic device and corresponding to the selected piece of function-introductory information, the utilization determination signal representing a determination to utilize a function introduced by the selected piece of function-introductory information.   
     
     
         9 . The storage medium according to  claim 7 , wherein the program allowing the computer:
 to receive, when detection of a utilization determination signal follows transmission of the selected piece of function-introductory information, another selected piece of function-introductory information for introducing another function as the transmission information transmitted from the another electronic device, said another function being different from a function introduced by the selected piece of function-introductory information, the utilization determination signal representing a determination to utilize said another function.   
     
     
         10 . The storage medium according to  claim 7 ,
 wherein two or more pieces of function-introductory information selected from the plurality of function-introductory information are the transmission information, and   wherein the program allowing the computer:   to receive a control signal transmitted from the another electronic device, the control signal allowing the electronic device to display on the display the two or more pieces of function-introductory information in random order.
