Self-contained, fully disposable pet toilet unit that incorporates living grass

Abstract

A portable, fully-disposable, pet toilet is comprised of a receptacle whose cavity is fitted with living grass, living sod (including washed or soil-free sod), or a grass-seed medium. The unit has a fitted, removable cover or fold-back lid to enable the convenient shipping and disposal of the unit in its entirety. The pet toilet is used by the pet for a set period of time, at which point it is completely disposed of and replaced with a new one.

1 . A pet toilet unit construction that comprises a fully disposable container that incorporates living grass for collecting the bodily waste of a pet, and
 wherein each said pet toilet unit is constructed to have a receptacle base that has one or more sidewalls that rise from said receptacle base to form a cavity for incorporating said living grass,   wherein each said pet toilet unit is constructed to form an entity wherein the disposable container and the living grass function together, as a whole, as a single, integrated, self-contained pet toilet unit,   wherein each said pet toilet unit is constructed to be fully disposable, so that the unit may be discarded, in its entirety, by at least one customer, subsequent to its use for collecting the bodily waste of a pet.   
     
     
         2 . A pet toilet unit construction that comprises a fully disposable container that incorporates living grass for collecting the bodily waste of a pet, and which is constructed to both transport the living grass for initial use and to serve as a fully disposable pet commode, and
 wherein each said pet toilet is constructed to have a covering to facilitate the convenient shipping and disposal of the unit in its entirety, and   wherein each said covering can be removed following the delivery of said pet toilet unit to by least one customer to permit the entry to and use of the unit by a pet.   
     
     
         3 . A pet toilet unit construction that comprises a fully disposable container incorporated with living grass that remains alive during shipment to at least one customer, and
 wherein, during or following the construction of each said pet toilet unit, all or part of each said unit is made to be resistant to the penetration of liquids, and   wherein, during or following the construction of each said pet toilet unit, each said unit is made to be accessible to the entry of air during the unit's shipment.
