Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThe invention is claimed as follows:
. A device comprising:
a processor; a display; an input device; and a memory that stores a plurality of instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to operate with the display and the input device to: (a) receive a request for a location of a player of a gaming device; (b) determine the location of said player; and (c) display location information representing the determined location of said player.
. The device of claim 1 , wherein the displayed location information includes at east one of a map and directions to the determined location of said player.
. The device of claim 1 , wherein the determined location of said player is displayed as a graphical element.
. The device of claim 3 wherein the graphical element includes at least one of an icon and an image of said player.
. The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to display an offer to be provided to said player.
. The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to determine the location of said player based at least in part on data received from a central controller.
. A method operating a device, said method comprising:
(a) causing a processor to execute a plurality of instructions to operate with an input device to receive a request for a location of a player of a gaming device; (b) causing the processor to execute the plurality of instructions to determine the location of said player; and (c) causing the processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with a display to display location information representing the determined location of said player.
. The method of claim 7 , wherein the displayed location information includes at least one of a map and directions to the determined location of said player.
. The method of claim 7 , wherein the determined location of said player is displayed as a graphical element.
. The method of claim 9 wherein the graphical element includes at one of an icon and an image of said player.
. The method of claim 7 , which includes causing the processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the display to display an offer to be provided to said player.
. The method of claim 7 , which includes causing the processor to execute the plurality of instructions to determine the location of said player based at least in part on data received from a central controller.
. The method of claim 12 , wherein the data is received through a data network.
. The method of claim 13 , wherein the data network is an internet.
. A non-transitory computer readable medium that stores a plurality of instructions which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:
(a) receive a request for a location of a player of a gaming device; (b) determine the location of said player; and (c) cause a display to display location information representing the determined location of said player.
. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the displayed location information includes at least one of a map and directions to the determined location of said player.
. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the determined location of said player is displayed as a graphical element.
. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 17 wherein the graphical element includes at least one of an icon and an image of said player.
. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to cause the display to display an offer to be provided to said player.
. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to determine the location of said player based at least in part on data received from a central controller.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
