Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A snowboard binding, comprising a base plate which has a cavity for accommodating a disk adapted to allow the connection between said base plate and the snowboard deck, wherein said disk has an elongated shape with the central regions provided with recesses, said cavity of the base plate having complementary protrusions adapted to mate with said recesses of the disk.

2 . The snowboard binding according to claim 1 , wherein said disk has a pair of holes adapted to allow the fixing of the disk, within the cavity of the base plate, to the snowboard deck by means of a pair of screws.

3 . The snowboard binding according to claim 1 , wherein said disk has, at its front and rear ends, toothed regions adapted to mesh with corresponding toothed regions formed at the front and rear regions of the cavity of said base plate, thus allowing a broad choice of angular placements of the base plate of the binding on the deck.

4 . The snowboard binding according to claim 1 , wherein said disk has lightening regions that are formed by cavities arranged substantially along the original extension of the disk.
