Abstract
A wall-mounted drum type washing machine includes a rear panel mounted on a wall surface; a tub containing wash water; a box unit coupled to the rear panel and surrounding the tub; and a reinforcement portion connecting the tub and the rear panel and surrounding the tub.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A wall-mounted drum-type washing machine comprising:
a rear panel mounted on a wall surface; a tub containing wash water; a box unit coupled to the rear panel and surrounding the tub; and a reinforcement portion connecting the tub and the rear panel and surrounding the tub.
2 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 1 , where the rear panel comprises a plurality of reinforcement ribs on a rear surface thereof.
3 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 2 , wherein the reinforcement portion is integral with the reinforcement ribs.
4 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 2 , wherein the tub extends from the rear panel to a front side, and the reinforcement ribs extend from the rear panel to a rear side.
5 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the reinforcement portion extends from the rear panel to the front side and is integral with the tub.
6 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 5 , wherein the reinforcement portion has a curved upper end integral with the tub, and forms a space between the tub and a bottom of the reinforcement portion.
7 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the rear panel comprises a receiving portion on the circumference thereof, coupled to the box unit.
8 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 7 , wherein the receiving portion is below a front surface of the rear panel, and the reinforcement portion, the front surface, and the receiving portion have a stair shape.
9 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 8 , wherein the stair shape of the reinforcement portion, the front surface, and the receiving portion extends to the front side from the receiving portion.
10 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 8 , wherein the rear panel has a through-hole through which a fastening member is inserted and coupled to the wall surface, and the fastening member is inserted into a buffer member such that the buffer member is between the through-hole and the wall surface.
11 . The wall-mounted drum type washing machine of claim 10 , further comprising a nut coupled to the fastening member is directly attached to the front surface of the rear panel.
12 . The wall-mounted drum washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the reinforcement portion surrounds a base of the tub.
13 . The wall-mounted drum washing machine of claim 1 , wherein the rear panel, the tub, and the reinforcement portion are integral with each other.
14 . A method of making a reinforced wall-mounted drum washing machine, comprising:
injecting a moldable material into a mold to form an integrated rear panel, tub, and reinforcement portion, the rear panel being configured to be mounted on a wall surface, the tub being configured to contain wash water, and the reinforcement portion connecting the tub and the rear panel and surrounding at least part of the tub; and removing the integrated rear panel, tub, and reinforcement portion from the mold.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising separately forming a box unit configured to be coupled to or installed over the rear panel and surround the tub.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the box unit further surrounds the reinforcement portion.
17 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the reinforcement portion completely surrounds a base of the tub.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the mold further forms a space between the base of the tub and a sidewall of the reinforcement portion.
19 . The method of claim 14 , wherein the rear panel comprises a receiving portion on or in the circumference thereof, configured to be coupled to and/or matched with the box unit.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the receiving portion is below a front surface of the rear panel, the reinforcement portion extends or protrudes from the rear panel to a front of the wall-mounted drum washing machine, and the reinforcement portion, the front surface, and the receiving portion have a stair shape.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
