Image display control apparatus, image display apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium, and image display control method

Abstract

An image display control apparatus includes a display controller, a determination unit, and an execution unit. When an image displayed on a display having a display area and a touch panel disposed on the display area is specified through the touch panel, the display controller performs control to display menu screens individually representing predetermined plural menu items in such a manner that a free area is provided in part of a peripheral area adjacent to the image displayed in the display area. The determination unit determines that, when specification of the image through the touch panel is followed by movement of a specified position onto a desired menu screen, the menu item represented by the desired menu screen is specified, and determines that, when the specified position is moved to the free area, a drag operation is specified. The execution unit executes a process corresponding to a determination result.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An image display control apparatus comprising:
 a display controller that performs control to display menu screens each representing one of a predetermined plurality of menu items, individually in association with the menu items, when an image displayed on a display having a display area in which an image is displayed and a touch panel disposed on a surface of the display area is specified through the touch panel, in such a manner that a free area is provided in part of a peripheral area adjacent to the image displayed in the display area;   a determination unit that determines that, when specification of the image through the touch panel while the menu screens are being displayed in the display area is followed by movement of a specified position onto one of the menu screens, the menu item represented by the menu screen onto which the specified position is moved is specified, and determines that, when the specified position is moved to the free area, a drag operation of the specified image in accordance with movement of the specified position is specified; and   an execution unit that executes a process corresponding to a determination result of the determination unit.   
     
     
         2 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to stop display of the menu screens after determination of the determination unit is completed.   
     
     
         3 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to display a matrix of images in the display area, and performs control to display, when one of the images displayed in the display area is specified through the touch panel, the menu screens with the free area created in part of an area between images adjacent in at least one of a row direction and a column direction within a peripheral area adjacent to the specified image.   
     
     
         4 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to display, when one of the images displayed in the display area is specified through the touch panel, the menu screens with the free area created in part of a peripheral area adjacent to at least one side of the specified image, in such a manner that the menu screens are displayed in part of a peripheral area adjacent to another side of the specified image.   
     
     
         5 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to stop display of the menu screens in response to cancelation of specification through the touch panel before determination of the determination unit is completed.   
     
     
         6 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to display, when the image displayed in the display area is specified through the touch panel, menu screens having the predetermined plurality of menu items displayed as balloons in the display area with the free area created in part of a peripheral area adjacent to the image.   
     
     
         7 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to display, when specification of the image through the touch panel while the menu screens are being displayed in the display area is followed by movement of a specified position onto the display area, the specified image while moving the specified image to a display position in accordance with movement of the specified position, performs control to, when the determination unit determines that one of the menu items is specified, move the specified image to an original position and display the specified image at the original position, and performs control to, when the determination unit determines that a drag operation is specified, stop the specified image at a specified position in the free area and display the specified image at the specified position.   
     
     
         8 . The image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the display controller performs control to display, when the image displayed in the display area is specified through the touch panel, arc-shaped menu screens centered on a specified position or a center of the specified image in the display area with the free area created in part of a peripheral area adjacent to the image.   
     
     
         9 . An image display apparatus comprising:
 the image display control apparatus according to  claim 1 ; and   a display that displays an image, the display including a touch panel through which information for selecting a displayed image is input.   
     
     
         10 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
 performing control to display menu screens each representing one of menu items including an item indicating a movement direction for a drag operation, when an image displayed on a display having a display area in which a predetermined image is displayed and a touch panel disposed on a surface of the display area is specified through the touch panel, in such a manner that a free area is provided in part of a peripheral area adjacent to the image displayed in the display area of the display;   determining that, when specification of the image through the touch panel while the menu screens are being displayed using the display is followed by movement of a specified position onto one of the menu screens, the menu item represented by the menu screen onto which the specified position is moved is specified, and determining that, when the specified position is moved to the free area, the drag operation of the specified image in accordance with movement of the specified position is specified; and   executing a process corresponding to a determination result.   
     
     
         11 . An image display control method comprising:
 performing control to display menu screens each representing one of menu items including an item indicating a movement direction for a drag operation, when an image displayed on a display having a display area in which a predetermined image is displayed and a touch panel disposed on a surface of the display area is specified through the touch panel, in such a manner that a free area is provided in part of a peripheral area adjacent to the image displayed in the display area of the display;   determining that, when specification of the image through the touch panel while the menu screens are being displayed using the display is followed by movement of a specified position onto one of the menu screens, the menu item represented by the menu screen onto which the specified position is moved is specified, and determining that, when the specified position is moved to the free area, the drag operation of the specified image in accordance with movement of the specified position is specified; and   executing a process corresponding to a determination result.
