Abstract
A layered midriff defining garment includes a generally tubular main body having a top opening, a bottom opening and a pair of side sections defining curved portions to impart an hourglass figure. Upper and lower resilient bands for maintaining the device on the body of a user, and a plurality of horizontally layered elements for simulating a look of a plurality of different shirts.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A layered midriff defining garment, comprising:
a generally tubular main body having a top opening, a bottom opening and a pair of side sections, each of said side sections including a curved portion radiating towards a center of the main body; said curved portions being configured to apply an inward pressure to an abdominal section of a user to impart an hourglass figure; an upper resilient band secured along the upper opening of the main body, said upper band being configured to secure the garment to a location above the users abdominal section; a lower resilient band secured along the lower opening of the main body, said lower band being configured to secure the garment to a location below the users abdominal section; and a plurality of horizontally layered elements disposed along the main body of the garment, said layered elements including a shape and style that is configured to simulate a look of a plurality of different shirts.
2 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
at least one adjustable strap secured along the upper opening of the main body, said straps being configured to engage a bra of a user.
3 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein said main body is constructed from a porous and resilient material configured to dissipate heat and to expand and contract with a contour of a users body.
4 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a removable seem extending from the top opening to the bottom opening, said seem including at least one of a zipper, a hook and loop material, a plurality of snaps, a plurality of buttons and a plurality of opposing magnetic elements.
5 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein each of the layered elements are secured to the main body via resilient seems and are configured to expand and contract with a movement of the main body.
6 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein each of the layered elements are constructed from a same material as the main body.
7 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the layered elements are constructed from a material that is not the same as the main body.
8 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein each of the layered elements include an identical color as the main body.
9 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the layered elements includes a color that is not the same as a color of the main body.
10 . The garment of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the layered elements includes a decorative marking.
11 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a tail section secured along the bottom opening of the main body and extending between each of the opposing side sections, said tail section being configured to cover a posterior section of a users body.
12 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a pair of side extension sections that are secured along the bottom opening of the main body at each of the opposing side sections, respectively, said side extensions being configured to cover a hip section of a users body and to create a shark-bite style.
13 . A layered midriff defining garment, comprising:
a generally tubular main body having a top opening, a bottom opening and a pair of side sections, each of said side sections including a curved portion radiating towards a center of the main body; said curved portions being configured to apply an inward pressure to an abdominal section of a user to impart an hourglass figure; an upper resilient band secured along the upper opening of the main body, said upper band being configured to secure the garment to a location above the users abdominal section; a lower resilient band secured along the lower opening of the main body, said lower band being configured to secure the garment to a location below the users abdominal section; a contour strap having a first end secured along the entirety of one of the side sections of the main body, and a second end configured to be removably secured to the entirety of the other side section of the main body via a contour strap connector,
wherein the contour strap is configured to adjustably pull each of the side sections of the main body towards each other in accordance with a users preference; and
a plurality of horizontally layered elements disposed along the main body of the garment, and an outside facing portion of the contour strap, said layered elements including a shape and style that is configured to simulate a look of a plurality of different shirts.
14 . The device of claim 13 , wherein said contour strap connector includes opposing strips of hook and loop material, said material including a color that is identical to a color of the main body.
15 . The garment of claim 13 , further comprising:
at least one adjustable strap secured along the upper opening of the main body, said straps being configured to engage a bra of a user.
16 . The garment of claim 13 , wherein each of the main body and the contour strap are constructed from a porous and resilient material configured to dissipate heat and to expand and contract with a contour of a users body.
17 . The garment of claim 13 , wherein each of the layered elements are secured to the main body and the contour strap via resilient seems and are configured to expand and contract with a movement of the main body.
18 . The garment of claim 13 , wherein at least one of the layered elements are constructed from a material and a color that is not the same as a material and color of the main body.
19 . The garment of claim 13 , further comprising:
a tail section secured along the bottom opening of the main body and extending between each of the opposing side sections, said tail section being configured to cover a posterior section of a users body.
20 . The garment of claim 13 , further comprising:
a pair of side extension sections that are secured along the bottom opening of the main body at each of the opposing side sections, respectively, said side extensions being configured to cover a hip section of a users body and to create a shark-bite style.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
