Abstract

The present invention is an apparatus comprising: a display control unit configured to cause a display screen to display a plurality of objects which include an object to be processed according to a moving operation; a selection unit configured to select at least one of the plurality of objects which are displayed, based on a position on the display screen; a determining unit configured to, in a case where an object different from the object to be processed is selected and the moving operation for the selected object is executed, determine whether to execute the predetermined processing to the object to be processed according to the moving operation, based on the selected object; and a processing unit configured to execute the predetermined processing for the object according to the moving operation, in a case where the determining unit determines that the predetermined processing is executed to the object.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus comprising:
 a display control unit configured to cause a display screen to display a plurality of objects which include an object to be processed according to a moving operation by a user;   a selection unit configured to select at least one of the plurality of objects which are displayed by the display control unit, based on a position on the display screen which is instructed by a user;   a determining unit configured to, in a case where an object different from the object to be processed is selected by the selection unit and the moving operation for the selected object is executed, determine whether to execute the predetermined processing to the object to be processed according to the moving operation, based on the selected object; and   a processing unit configured to execute the predetermined processing for the object according to the moving operation, in a case where the determining unit determines that the predetermined processing is executed to the object.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the determining unit determines whether to execute the predetermined processing to the object to be processed according to the moving operation, based on a position that the selected object which is selected by the selection unit is arranged on the display screen.   
     
     
         3 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the processing unit executes a processing which changes a candidate to be displayed by the display control unit among a plurality of candidates of the objects to be processed, as the predetermined processing.   
     
     
         4 . The apparatus according to  claim 3 ,
 wherein the display control unit changes the display on the display screen of a part of object among the plurality of objects, in a case where a predetermined region is instructed by a user on the display screen.   
     
     
         5 . The apparatus according to  claim 4 ,
 wherein the display control unit does not execute the change of the display for the part of objects, even if the predetermined region is instructed, in a case where a continuous moving operation is executed by a user.   
     
     
         6 . The apparatus according to  claim 3 ,
 wherein the processing unit changes the object to be displayed, by moving the object which is displayed by the display control unit according to the moving operation performed by a user.   
     
     
         7 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 in a case where the determining unit determines that the object to be processed is not executed with the predetermined processing, a processing corresponding to the selected object selected by the selection unit is not executed for the selected object.   
     
     
         8 . The apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the display screen has a touch panel, the display control unit causes the display screen set up with the touch panel, to display the plurality of objects which include the object to be processed according to the moving operation.   
     
     
         9 . The apparatus according to  claim 8 ,
 wherein the moving operation is a flick operation or a drug operation on the touch panel.   
     
     
         10 . A method comprising:
 causing a display screen to display a plurality of objects which include an object to be processed according to a moving operation by a user;   selecting at least one of the plurality of objects which are displayed, based on a position on the display screen which is instructed by a user;   in a case where an object different from the object to be processed is selected by the selection and the moving operation for the selected object is executed, determining whether to execute the predetermined processing to the object to be processed according to the moving operation, based on the selected object which is selected; and   executing the predetermined processing for the object according to the moving operation, in a case where the predetermined processing is executed to the object to be processed.   
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein it is determined whether to execute the predetermined processing to the object to be processed according to the moving operation, based on a position that the selected object is arranged on the display screen.   
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein a processing which changes a candidate to be displayed among a plurality of candidates of the objects to be processed, as the predetermined processing.   
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 12 , wherein a part of object among the plurality of objects displayed on the display screen is changed, in a case where a predetermined region is instructed by a user on the display screen. 
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 13 ,
 wherein the change of the display in the part of objects is not executed, even if the predetermined region is instructed, in a case where a continuous moving operation is executed by a user.   
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 12 ,
 wherein the object to be displayed is changed, by moving the displayed object according to the moving operation by a user.   
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein in a case where it is determined that the object to be processed is not executed with the predetermined processing, a processing corresponding to the selected object is not executed for the selected object.   
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein the display screen has a touch panel, a plurality of objects which include the object to be proceeded are displayed on the display screen set up with the touch panel.   
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein the moving operation is a flick operation or a drag operation.   
     
     
         19 . A non-transitory recording medium storing a program for causing a computer to execute the method according to  claim 10 .
