Method of furniture construction

Abstract

Furniture with a multi-color, three dimensional design incorporated in the furniture formed of a at least three layer plastic material with the outermost layers of the same color and an intermediate layer of a different color and with portions of one of the outermost layers removed to expose portions of the intermediate layer to form a design.

1 . Furniture including a three dimensional, multicolor design incorporated in the furniture by providing a at least three layered sheet of plastic material with the outermost sheets of one color and intermediate sheets of another color and removing portions of one of the outermost sheets to expose portions of the intermediate sheet to form a design. 
     
     
         2 . The furniture as defined in  claim 1  and in which said plastic material is HDPE. 
     
     
         3 . The furniture as defined in  claim 1  and including a fourth layer of a different color than the other three layers. 
     
     
         4 . The furniture as defined in  claim 1  and including removing portions of one of the outermost sheets and portions of the innermost sheet to form a multi color design. 
     
     
         5 . A method of forming a three dimensional design in furniture or the like comprising the steps;
 providing furniture with at least a portion of the furniture formed of three layers of plastic material with the outermost sheets of one color and the innermost layer of another color; and   removing portions of one of the outermost layers to form a design.   
     
     
         6 . The method of as defined in  claim 5  and in which all layers are of a different color. 
     
     
         7 . The method as defined in  claim 5  and including a fourth layer of plastic material disposed intermediate the innermost layer and of a and one of the outermost layers and including the step of removing a portion of the outermost layer and removing a portion of the intermediate layer to expose a portion of the innermost layer to create a three dimensional design in the furniture.
