.- 2 . (canceled)

. A method, comprising:
generating, by a computing device, a user interface comprising one or more tiles, wherein at least one tile of the one or more tiles corresponds to content that is selected for presentation based on a viewer demographic selected from a plurality of viewer demographics, the viewer demographic being selected based at least in part on a time of day; and causing, by the computing device, the generated user interface to be displayed.

. The method of claim 3 , wherein the one or more tiles are divided into different groupings of tiles.

. The method of claim 4 , wherein at least one grouping of tiles is individually scrollable.

. The method of claim 4 , wherein at least one grouping of tiles is selected based on one or more business rules.

. The method of claim 6 , wherein the one or more business rules control at least one of the content and placement of at least one tile of the one or more tiles.

. The method of claim 3 , wherein the at least one tile of the one or more tiles has a different size than at least one other tile of the one or more tiles.

. The method of claim 3 , wherein the at least one tile of the one or more tiles includes at least one of a channel logo, program logo, or another image.

. The method of claim 3 , wherein the content corresponds to promoted on-demand content that is supplemental to currently transmitted content.

. The method of claim 3 , wherein the one or more tiles include at least one tile that corresponds to an on-demand content selection and at least one other tile that corresponds to a currently transmitted content selection.

. The method of claim 3 , wherein the content is selected from a plurality of contents that is categorized based at least in part on time-based demographics.

. An apparatus, comprising:
 a computing device configured to:
generate a user interface comprising one or more tiles, wherein at least one tile of the one or more tiles corresponds to content that is selected for presentation based on a viewer demographic selected from a plurality of viewer demographics, the viewer demographic being selected based at least in part on a time of day; and
cause the generated user interface to be displayed.

. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the one or more tiles are divided into different groupings of tiles.

. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein at least one grouping of tiles is individually scrollable.

. The apparatus of claim 14 , wherein at least one grouping of tiles is selected based on one or more business rules.

. The apparatus of claim 16 , wherein the one or more business rules control at least one of the content and placement of at least one tile of the one or more tiles.

. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the at least one tile of the one or more tiles has a different size than at least one other tile of the one or more tiles.

. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the at least one tile of the one or more tiles includes at least one of a channel logo, program logo, or another image.

. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the content corresponds to promoted on-demand content that is supplemental to currently transmitted content.

. The apparatus of claim 13 , wherein the one or more tiles include at least one tile that corresponds to an on-demand content selection and at least one other tile that corresponds to a currently transmitted content selection.

. A method, comprising:
generating, by a computing device, a channel assistant user interface comprising an interactive bar, the interactive bar comprising one or more tiles, wherein the one or more tiles are configured to present additional content selections for on-demand content that is supplemental to currently transmitted content, and wherein at least one tile of the one or more tiles is selected for presentation based on a viewer demographic selected from a plurality of viewer demographics, the viewer demographic being selected based at least in part on a time of day; and causing, by the computing device, the generated user interface to be displayed.
