A method, including: tracking a quantity of an item consumed and when the consumption occurs; tracking if an effect was felt and a magnitude of the effect felt; selecting an item of interest; displaying in graphical form the quantity of the item of interest consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred; displaying in graphical form when the effect was felt and the magnitude of the effect felt; and determining if a relationship can be drawn between the display of the quantity of the item of interest consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred and the display of the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt.

1 . A method, comprising:
tracking a quantity of an item consumed and when the consumption occurs; tracking if an effect was felt and a magnitude of the effect felt; selecting an item of interest; displaying in graphical form the quantity of the item of interest consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred; displaying in graphical form when the effect was felt and the magnitude of the effect felt; and determining if a relationship can be drawn between the display of the quantity of the item of interest consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred and the display of the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the display of the quantity of the item of interest consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred comprises an x-y chart comprising a when-axis and a quantity-axis, and wherein the display of when the effect is felt and the magnitude of the effect felt comprises an x-y chart comprising the when-axis and a magnitude-axis.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein both displays occur on the same x-y chart.
4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the when-axis comprises units of days ordered chronologically.
5 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising shifting one of the displays along the when-axis to aid in determining if the relationship can be drawn.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the item of interest comprises an ingredient, additive, or nutrient and is present in at least two items consumed.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the effect felt comprises a physical effect, a physiological effect, and a psychological effect.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the effect felt comprises an increase in muscle performance.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the item of interest comprises a substance necessary for an increase in muscle performance.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the effect felt comprises an allergic reaction.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the item of interest comprises an allergen.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the item consumed comprises anything eaten, comprising food, medicine, a supplement, an individual ingredient, an individual additive, and an individual nutrient.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the display of when and how much of the item was consumed occurs on an electronic display screen.
14 . A method, comprising:
tracking over time items consumed and when each item consumed was consumed; tracking over time a magnitude of an effect felt and when the effect was felt; selecting an item of interest; displaying in graphical form a quantity of the item of interest in the items consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred; displaying in graphical form the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt; and determining if a relationship can be drawn between 1) the graphical form of the quantity of the item of interest in the items consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred and 2) the graphical form of the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein both displays are displayed on an x-y chart comprising a when-axis, and wherein the when-axis comprises time-periods.
16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the item of interest is present in at least two items consumed in a same time-period, and wherein the quantity of the item of interest is a sum of an amount of the item of interest present in each of the at least two items consumed.
17 . A method, comprising:
tracking over time items consumed and when each item consumed was consumed; tracking over time a magnitude of an effect felt and when the effect was felt; selecting an item of interest present in at least one item consumed; displaying in graphical form a quantity of the item of interest in the items consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred; displaying in graphical form the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt; and determining if a relationship can be drawn between 1) the graphical form of the quantity of the item of interest in the items consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred and 2) the graphical form of the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein selecting an item of interest comprises selecting plural items of interest, starting with items of interest known to cause an allergic reaction or an intolerance reaction.
19 . The method of claim 17 , further comprising:
identifying that the relationship exists, reducing consumption of the item of interest for a subsequent period of time; displaying in graphical form a quantity of the item of interest consumed and when the consumption of the item of interest occurred during the subsequent period of time; displaying in graphical form the magnitude of the effect felt and when the effect was felt during the subsequent period of time; and determining if the magnitude of the effect decreased with a decrease in the quantity of the item of interest consumed.
