Abstract
Methods are provided to manipulate phagocytosis of cancer cells, including e.g. leukemias, solid tumors including carcinomas, etc.

16 . A method of treating a human subject having a hematopoietic cancer, the method comprising:
administering to the human subject an antibody that prevents the binding of CD47 with SIRPα, at a dose that achieves a depletion in hematopoietic cancer cells.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the hematopoietic cancer is a leukemia or a lymphoma.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the leukemia is an acute leukemia.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the acute leukemia is AML (acute myeloid leukemia).
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein the acute leukemia is an ALL (acute lymphocytic leukemia).
21 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the ALL is T-ALL (T-cell ALL).
22 . The method of claim 20 , wherein the ALL is B-ALL (B-cell ALL).
23 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the lymphoma is non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
24 . The method of claim 23 , wherein the lymphoma is DLBCL (diffuse large B-cell lymphoma).
