Abstract
A railroad car for the accommodation and operation of a magnetic resonance tomography is provided. The railroad car includes a magnetic shielding of a volume for accommodation of the magnetic resonance tomograph. The magnetic shielding is designed to limit a magnetic scatter field outside a volume surrounded by the magnetic shielding to a value which is not hazardous to the environment, when a magnetic resonance tomograph is performing an examination in the interior of the volume.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A railroad car for the accommodation and operation of a magnetic resonance tomograph, the railroad car comprising:
a magnetic shielding of a volume for the accommodation of the magnetic resonance tomograph, wherein the magnetic shielding is designed to limit a magnetic scatter field outside the volume surrounded by the magnetic shielding to a value harmless to the environment, when the magnetic resonance tomograph is conducting an examination in an interior of the volume.
2 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the magnetic scatter field harmless to the environment amounts to 0.5 mT.
3 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the magnetic shielding is designed for a maximum magnetic field strength of the magnetic resonance tomograph in the volume of 1.5 T or more.
4 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the magnetic shielding is designed for the maximum magnetic field strength of the magnetic resonance tomograph in the volume of 3 T or more.
5 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a clear width of the volume surrounded by the magnetic shielding is greater than 2.5 meters.
6 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the railroad car comprises a cooling device for the cooling of the magnetic resonance tomograph.
7 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the railroad car comprises a power supply device for the magnetic resonance tomograph.
8 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the power supply device is designed to draw energy from an electrical catenary.
9 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the power supply device is designed to draw energy from an external low voltage source.
10 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the power supply device comprises an energy source for supplying the magnetic resonance tomograph.
11 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the railroad car further comprises the magnetic resonance tomograph and the magnetic resonance tomograph is arranged in the volume surrounded by the magnetic shielding.
12 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 11 , wherein the magnetic resonance tomograph comprises a maximum magnetic field strength of 1.5 T or more.
13 . The railroad car as claimed in claim 12 , wherein the magnetic resonance tomograph comprises the maximum magnetic field strength of 3 T or more.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
