A training device having a weighted object attached to an air resistance member.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A training device, comprising:
 a weighted object;   an air resistance member attached to the weighted object;
 wherein the air resistance member includes a first solid layer of material. 
   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1  wherein the air resistance member includes a second layer of material that permits air to pass through that is attached to the first layer of material. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 2  wherein the second layer of material has fastening loops that are connected to fastening members that are attached to the weighted object.
