Abstract
The present invention relates to a method of dyeing polyester-containing textile material characterised in that the textile material is treated with a liquor containing (a) at least one disperse dye and (b) at least one compound of the formula (1), wherein G 1 and G 2 , independently of one another, are C 1 -C 4 alkyl or together are pentamethylene, Z 1 and Z 2 are methyl, Or Z 1 and Z 2 together form a bridging member which is unsubstituted or substituted by an ester, ether, hydroxyl, oxo, cyanohydrin, amido, amino, carboxyl or urethane radical, and E is oxyl or hydroxyl.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of dyeing polyester-containing textile material characterised in that the textile material is treated with a liquor containing
(a) at least one disperse dye and (b) at least one compound of the formula
wherein
G 1 and G 2 , independently of one another, are C 1 -C 4 alkyl or together are pentamethylene,
Z 1 and Z 2 are methyl, or Z 1 and Z 2 together form a bridging member which is unsubstituted or substituted by an ester, ether, hydroxyl, oxo, cyanohydrin, amino, amino, carboxyl or urethane radical, and
E is oxyl or hydroxyl.
2 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the textile material is treated with a liquor containing as component (a) a compound of formula
wherein R 1 denotes C 1 -C 4 alkyl,
R 2 is hydrogen, bromo, chloro, cyano or nitro,
R 3 is promo, chloro, cyano or nitro,
R 4 is hydrogen, methyl or methoxy,
R 5 and R 6 , independently of one another, are ethyl, benzyl, 2-cyanoethyl, 2-hydroxyethyl, 2-methoxyethyl, 2-ethoxyethyl, 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)-ethyl, 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)-ethyl, 2-acetyloxyethyl, methoxycarbonylmethyl, ethoxycarbonylmethyl, 1-methoxycarbonylethyl or 1-ethoxycarbonylethyl,
R 7 is hydrogen, bromo, chloro, cyano or nitro,
R 8 is bromo, chloro, cyano or nitro,
R 9 is methyl or ethyl and
R 10 is hydrogen, methyl, methoxy, acetylamino or propionylamino.
3 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the textile material is treated with a liquor containing as component (a) a compound of formula
4 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the textile material is treated with a liquor containing as component (b) a compound of the formula
wherein E is oxyl or hydroxyl,
R 11 is hydrogen or methyl and
n=1 or 2,
wherein if n=1
Y is hydrogen, C 1 -C 18 alkyl, C 2 -C 10 alkenyl, propargyl, glycidyl or C 2 -C 50 alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by 1-10 hydroxyl groups and which may be interrupted by 1-20 oxygen atoms, or
Y is C 1 -C 4 alkyl substituted by —COOR 12 , in which R 12 is hydrogen, C 1 -C 4 alkyl or phenyl,
and wherein if n=2,
Y is C 1 -C 12 alkylene, C 4 -C 12 alkenylene, xylylene or C 1 -C 50 alkylene, which is unsubstituted or substituted by 1-10 hydroxyl groups and which may be interrupted by 1-20 oxygen atoms.
5 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the textile material is treated with a liquor containing as component (b) 1-oxyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-hydroxypiperidine of the formula
6 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the textile material is treated with a liquor additionally containing a lignin sulfonate.
7 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the textile material is polyester or a polyester/cotton blend.
8 . A method according to claim 1 , wherein the treatment with the dyeing liquor is followed by a reductive after-treatment.
9 . A method according to claim 8 wherein sodium hydrosulfite is used in the reductive after-treatment step.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
