Combination neisserial compositions

Abstract

Compositions comprising a first biological molecule from a Neisseria bacterium and a second biological molecule from a Neisseria bacterium. The term “biological molecule” includes proteins and nucleic acids. Preferred Neisseria species are N. meningitidis and N. gonorrhoeae.

1 . A composition comprising (i) a first substantially purified polypeptide comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO: 3518, wherein the fragment of SEQ ID NO: 3518 includes 8 or more contiguous amino acids from SEQ ID NO: 3518; and (a) a second substantially purified polypeptide comprising a second fragment of SEQ ID NO: 3926, wherein the fragment of SEQ ID NO: 3926 includes 8 or more contiguous amino acids from SEQ ID NO: 3926. 
     
     
         2 . The composition of  claim 1  wherein the fragment of SEQ ID NO: 3518 includes 14 or more contiguous amino acids from SEQ ID NO: 3518; and the fragment of SEQ ID NO: 3926 includes 14 or more contiguous amino acids from SEQ ID NO: 3926. 
     
     
         3 . The composition of  claim 1 , wherein the first or second substantially purified polypeptide is a fusion protein. 
     
     
         4 . The composition of  claim 3 , wherein the fusion protein comprises a GST protein or a HIS-tag. 
     
     
         5 . The composition of  claim 2 , wherein the first or second substantially purified polypeptide is a fusion protein. 
     
     
         6 . The composition of  claim 3 , wherein the first or second substantially purified polypeptide is a fusion protein. 
     
     
         7 . The composition of  claim 1 , further comprising an adjuvant. 
     
     
         8 . The composition of  claim 2 , further comprising an adjuvant. 
     
     
         9 . The composition of  claim 7 , wherein the adjuvant comprises an aluminum salt. 
     
     
         10 . The composition of  claim 8 , wherein the adjuvant comprises an aluminum salt.
