Abstract
Various embodiments include a method and system to request supplemental trust information (STI), from over a network, from a third party trust provider. The requesting uses a first predetermined criterion from an item listing that describes a particular item that is offered for sale on a network-based marketplace. The STI includes history information for the particular item that is generated by the third party trust provider. The system then stores and presents at least a portion of the STI.

one or more hardware processors; a communication module configured to use the one or more hardware processors to: request supplemental trust information (STI), from over a network, from a third party trust provider communicatively coupled to the communication module, the request includes a first predetermined criterion from an item listing that describes a particular item that is being offered for sale on a network-based marketplace, the STI includes history information for the particular item that is generated by the third party trust provider that uses a second predetermined criterion that is applied to the particular item; and a processing module configured to: store at least a portion of the STI in the item listing; and present, over the network, an interface that includes at least a portion of the STI stored in the item listing, the presentation is responsive to a request to display the STI.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
