generating a chat transcript pertaining to an online game that is playable by a first player and a second player online game being played according to a set of rules and a strategy chat transcript spanning from the online game to a previous online game that was previously played by the first player and the second player.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising selecting the previous online game that was previously played by the first player and the second player based on the previous online game being of the same type as the online game that is optionally playable by the first player and the second player.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising presenting the chat transcript to the second player based on the first player challenging the second player to play the online game against the first player.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the chat transcript includes a message that was automatically entered on behalf of the first player, the message identifying an action that the first player performed in the previous game.

5 . The method of claim 1 , herein that chat transcript comprises a header that provides a context of messages included in the chat transcript after the header.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the header separates the chat transcript based on rounds of the previous online game that were completed by the first player and the second player.

7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the previous online game was a card game and the context includes information pertaining to a hand of the card game.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining an additional previous online game that was previously played by the first player and the second player, the additional previous online game being a different type of game than the previous online game; wherein the chat transcript is filtered such that the chat transcript excludes the additional previous online game.

         9 . A system comprising:
a processor-implemented messaging module configured to:
generate a chat transcript pertaining to an online game that is playable by a first player and a second player, the online game being played according to a set of rules and a strategy, the chat transcript spanning from the online game to a previous online game that was previously played by the first player and the second player.

10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the online game that was previously played by the first player and the second player is of the same type as the game currently being played by the first player and the second player.

11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the chat transcript pertaining to the online game is configured to include messages entered automatically on behalf of the player and messages entered manually by the player.

12 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the chat transcript comprises a header that provides a context of messages included in the chat transcript after the header.

13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the header includes information pertaining to a stage of the online game.

14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the online game is a card game and the information includes a hand of the card game.

15 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the online game includes a posting of a blind and the information includes an amount of the blind.
