Abstract

A heat sink includes a plurality of fins. Each of the plurality of fins includes a fin body and a bent part located on one side of the fin body. The bent part of each of the plurality of fins includes an extension piece slanted relative to the fin body.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A heat sink comprising:
a plurality of fins, each of the plurality of fins comprising a fin body and a bent part located on one side of the fin body, and the bent part of each of the plurality of fins comprising an extension piece slanted relative to the fin body.

2 . The heat sink of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of fins are substantially parallel to each other.

3 . The heat sink of claim 2 , wherein the bent part of each of the plurality of fins further comprises a bent piece substantially perpendicular to the plurality of fins, and the extension piece diagonally extends from the bent piece of each of the plurality of fins.

4 . The heat sink of claim 3 , wherein the extension piece of each of the plurality of fins comprises a top edge connected to the bent piece and a bottom edge abuts the fin body.

5 . The heat sink of claim 4 , wherein a right-angle triangle is defined by the bent piece, the extension piece, and a part of the fin body of each of the plurality of fins.

6 . The heat sink of claim 1 , further comprising a base piece, wherein the plurality of fins are located on and substantially perpendicular to the base piece, and the extension piece of each of the plurality of fins comprises a top edge connected to the fin body and a bottom edge abuts the base piece.

7 . The heat sink of claim 6 , wherein a right-angle triangle is defined by the fin body, the extension piece, and the base piece of each of the plurality of fins.

8 . The heat sink of claim 1 , wherein the bent part of each of the plurality of fins further comprises an expansion piece extending from the extension piece, an obtuse angle is defined between the extension piece and the expansion piece.

9 . The heat sink of claim 8 , wherein a K-shape is defined by the fin body, the extension piece, and the expansion piece of each of the plurality of fins.

10 . The heat sink of claim 1 , wherein an obtuse angle is defined between fin body of each of the plurality of fins and the extension piece of each of the plurality of fins.

11 . The heat sink of claim 10 , wherein each of the plurality of fins further comprises a base piece connected to the fin body, and the bent part of each of the plurality of fins further comprises a cover piece connected to the extension piece.

12 . The heat sink of claim 11 , wherein each of the plurality of fins has an “M” like shape.
