a generally flat portion having a first side and a second side; and a bent portion extending along the first side of the flat portion, the bent portion including an arcuate section and a vertical section, and the arcuate section including a first plurality of non-skid members.

. The stair nosing of claim 1 wherein the first plurality of non-skid members are formed from a plurality of cutouts.

. The stair nosing of claim 2 wherein the plurality of cutouts are generally semi-circular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 2 wherein the plurality of cutouts are generally triangular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 2 wherein the plurality of cutouts are generally trapezoidal in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 1 wherein the flat portion includes a second plurality of non-skid members.

. The stair nosing of claim 6 wherein the second plurality of non-skid members includes a plurality of raised portions.

. The stair nosing of claim 1 wherein the first plurality of non-skid members are upwardly extending tabs.

. The stair nosing of claim 8 wherein the upwardly extending tabs are generally semi-circular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 8 wherein the upwardly extending tabs are generally triangular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 8 wherein the upwardly extending tabs are generally trapezoidal in shape.

. A stair nosing from a blank of material, the blank comprising;
a first side and a second side, the blank also being bent along the first side to form a flat portion, an arcuate portion and a vertical section, and a plurality of cutouts located along the arcuate portion, the cutouts adapted to form a first plurality of non-skid members.

. The stair nosing of claim 12 wherein the plurality of cutouts are generally semi-circular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 12 wherein the plurality of cutouts are generally triangular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 12 wherein the plurality of cutouts are generally trapezoidal in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 12 wherein the flat portion includes a second plurality of non-skid members.

. The stair nosing of claim 16 wherein the second plurality of non-skid members includes a plurality of raised portions.

. The stair nosing of claim 12 wherein the first plurality of non-skid members are upwardly extending tabs.

. The stair nosing of claim 18 wherein the upwardly extending tabs are generally semi-circular in shape.

. The stair nosing of claim 18 wherein the upwardly extending tabs are generally triangular in shape.
