Abstract

The invention is to help aspiring pitchers develop a better approach to pitching in three ways. 1 ) Enables pitchers to focus on the part of the plate where they want to throw the pitch. 2 ) Makes it easier for the pitcher to communicate with the catcher concerning location. 3 ) Visually reprimands the pitcher for throwing pitches in the wrong location.

1 . The side with the red on it is to visually tell the pitcher not to throw the pitch over this area of the plate. The pitcher should target the white area of the plate. (Corner Strike).
 The side with the green on it is for beginning pitchers to visually tell the pitcher to throw the pitch over this area of the plate. As the pitcher improves his/her accuracy, the pad can flipped over to show the side with the red and white to allow the pitcher to pitch properly to the corners.
