Claims

Abstract

An advection fan includes a fan frame, an impeller and a cover plate. The fan frame has a bottom plate and a lateral wall. A shaft seat is arranged on the bottom plate. The lateral wall surrounds the shaft seat and has an inner peripheral face. The lateral wall includes first and second air-guiding portions. An air inlet and an air outlet are formed between the first and second air-guiding portions. The first air-guiding portion includes a first guiding face intersecting the inner peripheral face by a first included angle, which is smaller than 180 degrees. The second air-guiding portion includes a second guiding face. A distance between the first and second guiding faces is gradually reduced from the air inlet towards the center of the fan frame. The impeller is rotatably coupled with the shaft seat. The cover plate is coupled with the lateral wall.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An advection fan comprising:
 a fan frame having a bottom plate and a lateral wall, wherein a shaft seat is arranged on the bottom plate, wherein the lateral wall surrounds the shaft seat and has an inner peripheral face facing the shaft seat, wherein the lateral wall includes a first air-guiding portion and a second air-guiding portion, wherein the first air-guiding portion has first and second ends, wherein the second air-guiding portion has first and second ends, wherein an air inlet is formed between the first ends of the first and second air-guiding portions, wherein an air outlet is formed between the second ends of the first and second air-guiding portions, wherein the first air-guiding portion includes a first guiding face at the air inlet, wherein the second air-guiding portion includes a second guiding face at the air inlet, wherein the first guiding face intersects the inner peripheral face of the lateral wall by a first included angle, wherein the first included angle is smaller than 180 degrees, and wherein a distance between the first and second guiding faces is gradually reduced from the air inlet towards a center of the fan frame;   an impeller rotatably coupled with the shaft seat of the fan frame; and   a cover plate coupled with a top edge of the lateral wall.   
     
     
         2 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the second guiding face intersects the inner peripheral face of the lateral wall by a second included angle, and wherein the second included angle is smaller than 180 degrees. 
     
     
         3 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the first air-guiding portion comprises a first air-guiding face at the air outlet, and wherein the second air-guiding portion comprises a second air-guiding face at the air outlet. 
     
     
         4 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the first and second air-guiding faces are parallel to each other. 
     
     
         5 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein a distance between the first and second air-guiding faces is gradually reduced from the air outlet towards the center of the fan frame. 
     
     
         6 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the first air-guiding portion has a first angular end at the air inlet, wherein the first air-guiding portion has a second angular end at the air outlet, wherein the second air-guiding portion has a third angular end at the air inlet, wherein the second air-guiding portion has a fourth angular end at the air outlet, wherein a first boundary line extends through the first angular end of the first air-guiding portion and the third angular end of the second air-guiding portion, wherein a second boundary line extends through the second angular end of the first air-guiding portion and the fourth angular end of the second air-guiding portion, wherein a reference line extends through the center of the shaft seat and the air outlet, wherein the reference line extends perpendicular to the second boundary line, wherein the lateral wall further comprises an air-separating portion, wherein the air-separating portion is coupled with the second air-guiding portion and extends inwards in a radial direction, and wherein the air-separating portion is located between the reference line and the first boundary line. 
     
     
         7 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein a first auxiliary line extends through the center of the shaft seat and the first angular end of the first air-guiding portion, and wherein the first auxiliary line intersects the reference line by a third included angle. 
     
     
         8 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the third included angle is between 35 degrees and 55 degrees. 
     
     
         9 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the third included angle is 35 degrees. 
     
     
         10 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the third included angle is 45 degrees. 
     
     
         11 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the third included angle is 55 degrees. 
     
     
         12 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein a second auxiliary line extends through the center of the shaft seat and the fourth angular end of the second air-guiding portion, and wherein the second auxiliary line intersects the reference line by a fourth included angle. 
     
     
         13 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein the fourth included angle is between 15 degrees and 35 degrees. 
     
     
         14 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein the fourth included angle is 15 degrees. 
     
     
         15 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein the fourth included angle is 25 degrees. 
     
     
         16 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 12 , wherein the fourth included angle is 35 degrees. 
     
     
         17 . The advection fan as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein the first and second guiding faces resemble the shape of “/ \”. 
     
     
         18 . A fan frame of an advection fan comprising:
 a bottom plate provided with a shaft seat; and   a lateral wall surrounding the shaft seat and having a first air-guiding portion and a second air-guiding portion, wherein the first air-guiding portion has first and second ends, wherein the second air-guiding portion has first and second ends, wherein an air inlet is formed between the first ends of the first and second air-guiding portions, wherein an air outlet is formed between the second ends of the first and second air-guiding portions, wherein the first air-guiding portion includes a first guiding face at the air inlet, wherein the second air-guiding portion includes a second guiding face at the air inlet, wherein the first guiding face intersects the inner peripheral face of the lateral wall by a first included angle, wherein the first included angle is smaller than 180 degrees, and wherein a distance between the first and second guiding faces is gradually reduced from the air inlet towards a center of the fan frame.   
     
     
         19 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 18 , wherein the second guiding face intersects the inner peripheral face of the lateral wall by a second included angle, and wherein the second included angle is smaller than 180 degrees. 
     
     
         20 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 19 , wherein the first air-guiding portion comprises a first air-guiding face at the air outlet, and wherein the second air-guiding portion comprises a second air-guiding face at the air outlet. 
     
     
         21 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 20 , wherein the first and second air-guiding faces are parallel to each other. 
     
     
         22 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 20 , wherein a distance between the first and second air-guiding faces is gradually reduced from the air outlet towards the center of the fan frame. 
     
     
         23 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 18 , wherein the first air-guiding portion has a first angular end at the air inlet, wherein the first air-guiding portion has a second angular end at the air outlet, wherein the second air-guiding portion has a third angular end at the air inlet, wherein the second air-guiding portion has a fourth angular end at the air outlet, wherein a first boundary line extends through the first angular end of the first air-guiding portion and the third angular end of the second air-guiding portion, wherein a second boundary line extends through the second angular end of the first air-guiding portion and the fourth angular end of the second air-guiding portion, wherein a reference line extends through the center of the shaft seat and the air outlet, wherein the reference line extends perpendicular to the second boundary line, wherein the lateral wall further comprises an air-separating portion, wherein the air-separating portion is coupled with the second air-guiding portion and extends inwards in a radial direction, and wherein the air-separating portion is located between the reference line and the first boundary line. 
     
     
         24 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 23 , wherein a first auxiliary line extends through the center of the shaft seat and the first angular end of the first air-guiding portion, and wherein the first auxiliary line intersects the reference line by a third included angle. 
     
     
         25 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 24 , wherein the third included angle is between 35 degrees and 55 degrees. 
     
     
         26 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 24 , wherein the third included angle is 35 degrees. 
     
     
         27 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 24 , wherein the third included angle is 45 degrees. 
     
     
         28 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 24 , wherein the third included angle is 55 degrees. 
     
     
         29 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 23 , wherein a second auxiliary line extends through the center of the shaft seat and the fourth angular end of the second air-guiding portion, and wherein the second auxiliary line intersects the reference line by a fourth included angle. 
     
     
         30 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 29 , wherein the fourth included angle is between 15 degrees and 35 degrees. 
     
     
         31 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 29 , wherein the fourth included angle is 15 degrees. 
     
     
         32 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 29 , wherein the fourth included angle is 25 degrees. 
     
     
         33 . The fan frame of the advection fan as claimed in  claim 29 , wherein the fourth included angle is 35 degrees.
