Abstract

In a boiler having plurality of burners arranged on a furnace wall of a furnace, each burner includes a cylindrical fuel nozzle for injecting a mixture of fuel and carrier gas therefor into the furnace; one or more cylindrical air nozzles provided on the outer circumference of the nozzle for injecting combustion air into the furnace, and a wind box for supplying combustion air to the nozzles in common. The wind box is provided with openings through which combustion air flows in from one direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the burner, and is partitioned by a partition wall to form plurality of parallel flow paths for the air flowing in through the openings. Some of the plurality of flow paths are connected to an upper part of the combustion air nozzle, and the other flow paths are connected to a lower part of the nozzle.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A combustion device comprising a plurality of burners arranged on a furnace wall of a furnace, each burner comprising: a cylindrical fuel nozzle that injects a mixture of a fuel and a carrier gas therefor into the furnace; one or more cylindrical combustion gas nozzles that are provided on the outer circumference of the fuel nozzle and inject a combustion gas into the furnace; and a wind box that supplies the combustion gas to the combustion gas nozzles,
wherein the wind box has a combustion gas inflow opening portion into which the combustion gas flows from one direction vertical to the axial direction of the burner and is partitioned to form a plurality of parallel flow paths through which the combustion gas flows in from the combustion gas inflow opening portion, some of the plurality of flow paths are connected to an upper side of the combustion gas nozzles, the other flow paths are connected to a lower side of the combustion gas nozzles, and first flow rate adjusting means for adjusting a flow rate of the combustion gas is independently provided to each of the plurality of flow paths.

2 . The combustion device according to claim 1 ,
wherein one duct through which the combustion gas is supplied to the plurality of wind boxes from the outside of the furnace is installed on the outer side of the furnace wall on which the wind boxes are installed.

3 . The combustion device according to claim 1 ,
wherein the plurality of wind boxes are aligned and installed inside or outside the one duct.

4 . The combustion device according to claim 1 ,
wherein second flow rate adjusting means for adjusting a flow rate of the combustion gas that flows into each burner on the upstream side of the first flow rate adjusting means is provided in each wind box.
