Abstract

An accessory holder, a system and a method holds and/or stores an accessory, such as, a doser for medicine, with a bottle. The accessory holder is attachable to a bottle, such as, for example, a medicine bottle. The accessory holder has a container segment to receive the accessory. The container segment holds and/or stores the accessory with the bottle such that the accessory is prevented from being separated, lost and/or contaminated while not in use.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An accessory holder used in conjunction with a bottle having a neck and a sidewall, the apparatus comprising:
a container segment having an inner volume defined by an inner wall, a bottom wall and an outer wall wherein the inner wall and the outer wall define a container opening opposite the bottom wall and further wherein the outer wall is convex and extends outwardly from the inner volume of the container segment; a fastening member having an outer edge, an inner edge and a plurality of flexible tabs attached to the inner edge of the fastening member extending inwardly to form a fastener opening; and a bend connecting the inner wall of the container segment and the outer edge of the fastening member wherein the bend has an angle between the fastening member and the inner wall of the container segment.

2 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the angle of the bend is 90 degrees.

3 . The accessory holder of claim 1 a wherein the fastening member has a fastening thickness and the plurality of flexible tabs have a tab thickness wherein the fastening thickness is greater than the tab thickness.

4 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the inner wall is flat.

5 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the inner wall is concave and extends inwardly into the inner volume of the container segment.

6 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the bottom wall is convex and extends outwardly from the inner volume of the container segment.

7 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the bottom wall is concave and extends inwardly into the inner volume of the container segment.

8 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the bottom wall has a slot.

9 . The accessory holder of claim 1 wherein the fastening member has a fastening thickness and the container segment has a container thickness wherein the container thickness is greater than the fastening thickness.

10 . An accessory holder used in conjunction with a bottle having a neck and a sidewall, the apparatus comprising:
a container segment having an inner volume defined by an inner wall, a bottom wall and an outer wall wherein the inner wall and the outer wall define an opening opposite the bottom wall and further wherein the outer wall is convex; and an adhesive member having a front adhesive surface and a back adhesive surface wherein the front adhesive surface is attached to the inner wall of the container segment and the back adhesive surface attaches to the sidewall of the bottle.

11 . The accessory holder of claim 10 wherein the inner wall of the container segment is flexible and further wherein the inner wall of the container segment conforms to the sidewall of the bottle.

12 . The accessory holder of claim 10 wherein the opening of the container segment is angled downwardly from the inner wall to the outer wall of the container segment.

13 . The apparatus of claim 10 wherein the inner wall is concave and extends inwardly into the inner volume of the container segment.

14 . The accessory holder of claim 10 wherein the inner wall has an inner wall thickness, the outer wall has an outer wall thickness and the bottom wall has a bottom wall thickness wherein the outer wall thickness and the bottom wall thickness are greater than the inner wall thickness.

15 . The accessory holder of claim 10 wherein the outer wall of the container segment is semi-circular.

16 . A method for storing an accessory with a bottle having a neck and a body, the method comprising the steps of:
providing a container having a fastening member wherein the fastening member has an outer edge, an inner edge and a plurality of tabs extending inwardly from the inner edge of the fastening member to form a flexible opening; and placing the neck of the bottle through the flexible opening of the fastening member of the container.

17 . The method of claim 16 further comprising the steps of:
preventing the container from being removed from the bottle.

18 . The method of claim 16 further comprising the steps of:
positioning the container to rest against the body of the bottle.

19 . The method of claim 16 further comprising the steps of:
storing the accessory in the container to prevent contamination.

20 . The method of claim 16 further comprising the steps of:
disposing of the container, accessory and bottle.
