Abstract

An epilation apparatus includes a body having two spaced apart holding arms, and a thread operating device which includes a powering unit supported within the body and a rotatable arm extended from the body between the holding arms. A thread is held at the epilation apparatus at a position that two free ends of the threads are held at two free ends of the holding arms and a mid-portion of the thread is held at a free end of the rotatable arm. Therefore, the rotatable arm is driven to reciprocatingly rotate by the powering unit for twisting the thread so as to simulate a threading motion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An epilation apparatus, comprising:
 a body which comprises two spaced apart holding arms frontwardly extended from a front side of said body; and   a thread operating device comprising a powering unit supported within said body and a rotatable arm extended from said body between said holding arms for holding a thread among two free ends of said holding arms and a free end of said rotatable arm, wherein said rotatable arm is driven to reciprocatingly rotate by said powering unit for twisting said thread so as to simulate a threading motion.   
     
     
         2 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said two holding arms are immovable that a distance between said free ends of said holding arms are fixed. 
     
     
         3 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said body comprises a housing which receives said powering unit therein and integrally extends said holding arms from said front side of said housing. 
     
     
         4 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 2 , wherein said body comprises a housing which receives said powering unit therein and integrally extends said holding arms from said front side of said housing. 
     
     
         5 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said powering unit comprises a power source and a motorized unit operatively linked to said power source for generating a reciprocatingly rotational power to said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         6 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 2 , wherein said powering unit comprises a power source and a motorized unit operatively linked to said power source for generating a reciprocatingly rotational power to said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         7 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 4 , wherein said powering unit comprises a power source and a motorized unit operatively linked to said power source for generating a reciprocatingly rotational power to said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         8 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said rotatable arm comprises a resilient arm extended at said first side of said body for coupling with said thread so as to self-adjusting a tension of said thread when said thread is driven to twist. 
     
     
         9 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 4 , wherein said rotatable arm comprises a resilient arm extended at said first side of said body for coupling with said thread so as to self-adjusting a tension of said thread when said thread is driven to twist. 
     
     
         10 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 7 , wherein said rotatable arm comprises a resilient arm extended at said first side of said body for coupling with said thread so as to self-adjusting a tension of said thread when said thread is driven to twist. 
     
     
         11 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said body further has a through slot provided at said front side thereof at a position between said holding arms, wherein said rotatable arm is adapted to be pulled out of said front side of said body through said through slot thereof when said thread is twisted. 
     
     
         12 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 10 , wherein said body further has a through slot provided at said front side thereof at a position between said holding arms, wherein said rotatable arm is adapted to be pulled out of said front side of said body through said through slot thereof when said thread is twisted. 
     
     
         13 . A method of removing hair by a thread via an epilation apparatus which comprises two holding arms extended from a front side of a body and a rotatable arm provided at said body between said holding arms, wherein the method comprises the steps of:
 (a) coupling two free ends of said thread at two free ends of said holding arms respectively;   (b) coupling a mid-portion of said thread at a free end of said rotatable arm; and   (c) applying a rotational force at said rotatable arm to reciprocatingly rotate said rotatable arm for twisting said thread to simulate a threading motion.   
     
     
         14 . The method, as recited in  claim 13 , wherein a distance between said free ends of said holding arms is fixed. 
     
     
         15 . The method, as recited in  claim 13 , wherein the step (c) further comprises a step of applying a resilient force at said thread to self-adjust a tension of said thread. 
     
     
         16 . The method, as recited in  claim 14 , wherein the step (c) further comprises a step of applying a resilient force at said thread to self-adjust a tension of said thread. 
     
     
         17 . The method as recited in  claim 16  wherein, in the step (c), said rotational force and said resilient force are applied to said thread by said rotatable arm at the same time. 
     
     
         18 . The method, as recited in  claim 17 , wherein said resilient force is applied perpendicular to said first side of said body. 
     
     
         19 . The method, as recited in  claim 13 , wherein said rotational force is generated by a powering unit which comprises a power source and a motorized unit operatively linked to said power source for generating a reciprocatingly rotational power to said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         20 . The method, as recited in  claim 18 , wherein said rotational force is generated by a powering unit which comprises a power source and a motorized unit operatively linked to said power source for generating a reciprocatingly rotational power to said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         21 . An epilation apparatus, comprising:
 a body which comprises two spaced apart holding arms frontwardly extended from a front side of said body; and   a thread operating device comprising a rotatable arm extended from said body between said holding arms; and   a thread unit which comprises a thread having two free ends detachably coupled at two free ends of said holding arms respectively and a mid-portion detachably coupled at a free end of said rotatable arm, wherein said rotatable arm is reciprocatingly rotated to twist said thread for simulating a threading motion.   
     
     
         22 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein said thread unit further comprises two thread couplers provided at said free ends of said thread to detachably couple with said holding arms respectively and a thread retainer provided at said mid-portion of said thread to detachably couple with said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         23 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 22 , wherein said two holding arms are immovable that a distance between said free ends of said holding arms are fixed. 
     
     
         24 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 23 , wherein said body comprises a housing which receives said powering unit therein and integrally extends said holding arms from said front side of said housing. 
     
     
         25 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein said powering unit comprises a power source and a motorized unit operatively linked to said power source for generating a reciprocatingly rotational power to said rotatable arm. 
     
     
         26 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein said rotatable arm comprises a resilient arm extended at said first side of said body for coupling with said thread so as to self-adjusting a tension of said thread when said thread is driven to twist. 
     
     
         27 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 25 , wherein said rotatable arm comprises a resilient arm extended at said first side of said body for coupling with said thread so as to self-adjusting a tension of said thread when said thread is driven to twist. 
     
     
         28 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 21 , wherein said body further has a through slot provided at said front side thereof at a position between said holding arms, wherein said rotatable arm is adapted to be pulled out of said front side of said body through said through slot thereof when said thread is twisted. 
     
     
         29 . The epilation apparatus, as recited in  claim 27 , wherein said body further has a through slot provided at said front side thereof at a position between said holding arms, wherein said rotatable arm is adapted to be pulled out of said front side of said body through said through slot thereof when said thread is twisted.
