Abstract

Disclosed is a fan motor including: a lower bracket having a lower protruding portion disposed at the center thereof and a space portion formed around the lower protruding portion; an upper bracket having an upper protruding portion disposed at the center thereof; a rotor disposed between the lower protruding portion and the upper protruding portion in such a manner as to be rotated together with a shaft; a stator core adapted to be surrounded with a lower insulator disposed on the top of the lower protruding portion and with an upper insulator disposed on the underside of the upper protruded portion; and a PCB cover adapted to be coupled under the lower insulator in such a manner as to be disposed into the space portion of the lower bracket and having a PCB insertion space portion formed at the inside thereof.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A fan motor comprising:
a lower bracket 1 having a lower protruding portion 11 disposed at the center thereof and a space portion 15 formed around the lower protruding portion 11 , the lower protruding portion 11 having a lower bearing insertion portion 12 formed at the inside thereof; an upper bracket 2 having an upper protruding portion 21 disposed at the center thereof, the upper protruding portion 21 having an upper bearing insertion portion 22 formed at the inside thereof; a rotor 4 disposed between the lower protruding portion 11 and the upper protruding portion 21 in such a manner as to be rotated together with a shaft 3 ; a stator core 5 adapted to be surrounded with a lower insulator 51 disposed on the top of the lower protruding portion 11 and with an upper insulator 52 disposed on the underside of the upper protruded portion 21 ; and a PCB cover 6 adapted to be coupled under the lower insulator 51 in such a manner as to be disposed into the space portion 15 of the lower bracket 1 and having a PCB insertion space portion 62 formed at the inside thereof.

2 . The fan motor according to claim 1 , wherein the lower bearing insertion portion 12 and the upper bearing insertion portion 22 have a lower bearing 31 and an upper bearing 32 forcedly pressed and fitted thereinto.

3 . The fan motor according to claim 2 , wherein the lower bearing 31 has lower felt 33 coupled to the lower periphery thereof, and the upper bearing 32 has upper felt 34 coupled to the upper periphery thereof.

4 . The fan motor according to claim 1 , further comprising a fan 7 adapted to be coupled to the protruding portion of the shaft 3 upwardly from the center portion of the upper bracket 2 , the fan 7 comprising: a shaft insertion protrusion 71 formed protrudedly from the center portion thereof and having a shaft insertion portion 73 ; and at least one or more gaps 72 formed on the shaft insertion protrusion 71 in a direction of the shaft 3 .

5 . The fan motor according to claim 1 , further comprising a PCB 61 adapted to be inserted into the PCB insertion space portion 62 and a sealing portion 64 formed by means of resin molding after the insertion of the PCB 61 .
