Abstract

An engagement is brokered between a consumer and a medical service provider; electronic text of a real-time, text-based communication between the medical service provider and the consumer is monitored during the engagement; the electronic text is analyzed for a triggering event related to at least one of medical diagnosis and medical treatment; the triggering event is detected in the electronic text; and medical information is provided to the medical service provider via a user interface in response to the triggering event.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 23 . (canceled)

         24 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 establishing, by a computer system over a computer network, a real-time, text-based communication channel between a service provider computer system and a consumer computer system; receiving, by the computer system that established the real-time, text-based communication channel, a real-time, text-based communication between the service provider and the consumer computer systems; analyzing by the computer system that established the real-time, text-based communication channel the real-time, text-based communication; receiving, by the computer system based on results of analyzing the text-based communication, medical information relevant to the real-time, text-based communication; and providing, by the computer system that established the real-time, text-based communication channel, the medical information to the service provider computer system.

         25 . The computer-implemented method of claim 24 , wherein the medical information comprises one or more of medical treatment information, standard of care information, and medical diagnosis information.

         26 . The computer-implemented method of claim 24 , wherein the medical information is received from an external data source.

         27 . The computer-implemented method of claim 26 , wherein the external data source is associated with a health plan.

         28 . The computer-implemented method of claim 27 , wherein the medical information that is received from the external data source associated with the health plan includes medical information that assists in diagnosing a condition of the consumer.

         29 . The computer-implement method of claim 24 , wherein the received medical information includes medical reference information.

         30 . The computer-implement method of claim 24 , wherein the real-time communication channel comprises a secure communication channel.

         31 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 establishing, by a computer system over a computer network, a real-time communication channel between a service provider computer system and a consumer computer system; receiving, by the computer system that established the real-time communication channel, information indicative of a real-time communication between the service provider and the consumer; analyzing the received information indicative of the real-time communication; retrieving, by the computer system that established the real-time communication channel from a database that stores medical information, medical information based on results of analyzing the received real-time communication; and providing, by the computer system that established the real-time communication channel, the retrieved medical information to the service provider computer system during the real-time communication.

         32 . The computer-implemented method of claim 31 , wherein the real-time communication channel comprises one or more of a telephonic communication channel and a text-based communication channel.

         33 . The computer-implemented method of claim 31 , wherein the medical information comprises one or more of medical treatment information, standard of care information, and medical diagnosis information.

         34 . The computer-implemented method of claim 31 , wherein the medical information is received from an external data source.

         35 . The computer-implemented method of claim 34 , wherein the external data source is associated with a health plan.

         36 . The computer-implemented method of claim 35 , wherein the medical information that is received from the external data source associated with the health plan includes medical information that assists in diagnosing a condition of the consumer.

         37 . The computer-implement method of claim 31 , wherein the received medical information includes medical reference information.

         38 . The computer-implement method of claim 31 , wherein the real-time communication channel comprises a secure communication channel.

         39 . An electronic system comprising:
 one or more processing devices; and one or more machine-readable hardware storage devise storing instructions that are executable by the one or more processing devices to perform operations comprising:
 establishing, over a computer network, a real-time, text-based communication channel between a service provider computer system and a consumer computer system;
 receiving a real-time, text-based communication between the service provider and the consumer computer systems;
 analyzing the real-time, text-based communication;
 receiving, based on results of analyzing the text-based communication, medical information relevant to the real-time, text-based communication; and
 providing the medical information to the service provider computer system.

         40 . The electronic system of claim 39 , wherein the medical information comprises one or more of medical treatment information, standard of care information, and medical diagnosis information.

         41 . The electronic system of claim 39 , wherein the medical information is received from an external data source.

         42 . The electronic system of claim 41 , wherein the external data source is associated with a health plan.

         43 . The electronic system of claim 42 , wherein the medical information that is received from the external data source associated with the health plan includes medical information that assists in diagnosing a condition of the consumer.
