Abstract
An example device includes at least one camera, a touchscreen and a display controller. The display controller is configured to concurrently display on the touchscreen (i) a first button operable for taking a picture using the camera, and (ii) a real time image captured by the camera, wherein the first button overlaps the real time image.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 : A device, comprising:
at least one camera; a touchscreen; and a display controller configured to concurrently display on the touchscreen (i) a first button operable for taking a picture using the camera, and (ii) a real time image captured by the camera, wherein the first button overlaps the real time image.
2 : The device according to claim 1 , wherein the real time image is displayed over the entirety of the touchscreen.
3 : The device according to claim 1 , wherein the display controller is further configured to display on the touchscreen a second button concurrently with the first button, wherein the second button overlaps the real time image.
4 : The device according to claim 3 , wherein the first button and the second button are located adjacent a same edge of the touchscreen.
5 : The device according to claim 4 , wherein the first button and the second button are displayed spaced apart from each other so that a portion of the real time image is displayed in the space between the first and second buttons.
6 : The device according to claim 3 , wherein the first button is located adjacent one edge of the touchscreen and the second button is located adjacent another edge of the touchscreen.
7 : The device according to claim 3 , wherein the at least one camera comprises first and second oppositely facing cameras, and the second button is operable for selecting between the first and second cameras.
8 : The device according to claim 3 , wherein the second button is operable for launching a picture-related application.
9 : The device according to claim 3 , wherein the second button is operable for launching by a shortcut a picture-related application which is different from a currently-activated application.
10 : The device according to claim 1 , wherein the first button is located adjacent an edge of the touchscreen.
11 : The device according to claim 10 , wherein the second button is located adjacent an edge of the touchscreen.
12 : The device according to claim 1 , wherein the first button is horizontally centered.
13 : The device according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a microphone.
14 : The device according to claim 1 , further comprising:
wireless communication circuitry.
15 : The device according to claim 14 , wherein the wireless communication circuitry includes first and second wireless modules.
16 : The device according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a memory card connector for connecting to a memory card for storing pictures.
17 : The device according to claim 1 , further comprising a mechanical button operable for taking a picture using the camera.
18 : The device according to claim 17 , the mechanical button is located on a side surface of the device.
19 : A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program which, when executed by a processing system of a device including at least one camera and a touchscreen, cause the device to perform operations comprising:
displaying on the touchscreen a first button operable for taking a picture using the camera; and displaying on the touchscreen, concurrently with the first button, a real time image captured by the camera, wherein the first button overlaps the real time image.
20 : The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 19 , wherein the real time image is displayed over the entirety of the touchscreen.
21 : The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 19 , wherein the operations further comprising:
displaying, on the touchscreen, a second button concurrently with the first button, wherein the second button overlaps the real time image.
22 : The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 21 , wherein the first button and the second button are located adjacent a same edge of the touchscreen.
23 : The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 22 , wherein the first button and the second button are displayed spaced apart from each other so that a portion of the real time image is displayed in the space between the first and second buttons.
24 : The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 22 , wherein the first button is located adjacent one edge of the touchscreen and the second button is located adjacent another edge of the touchscreen.
25 : A device, comprising:
first and second cameras; a touchscreen; and a display controller configured to concurrently display on the touchscreen (i) first, second and third buttons, the first button being operable for taking a picture using one of the cameras, the second button being operable for selecting between the first and second cameras, and the third button being operable for launching a picture-related application, and (ii) a real time image captured by the camera, wherein the first, second and third buttons overlap the real time image, wherein one of the buttons is located adjacent one of the edges of the touchscreen and the other buttons are located adjacent another of the edge of the touchscreen, and wherein the other buttons are spaced apart from each other so that part of the real time image is seen in the space.
26 : A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program which, when executed by a processing system of a device including first and second cameras and a touchscreen, cause the device to perform operations comprising:
displaying on the touchscreen first, second and third buttons, the first button being operable for taking a picture using one of the cameras, the second button being operable for selecting between the first and second cameras, and the third button being operable for launching a picture-related application; and displaying on the touchscreen, concurrently with the first, second and third buttons, a real time image captured by the camera, wherein the first, second and third buttons overlap the real time image, wherein one of the buttons is located adjacent one of the edges of the touchscreen and the other buttons are located adjacent another of the edge of the touchscreen, and wherein the other buttons are spaced apart from each other so that part of the real time image is seen in the space.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
