Abstract
An apparatus, method and system for categorizing, parsing, grouping and displaying Near Field Communication (NFC) tags for presentation on a user device, including storing in a computer readable medium of a log of ones of the tags read by or written by the user device, assessing at least one category for each of the logged tags, and displaying, in conjunction with at least one indicator indicative of the respective at least one category, of each of the logged tags on the user device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An electronic device, comprising:
a computer storage associated with at least one microprocessor, the computer storage operable to store data reads associated with a plurality of Near Field Communication (NFC) tags; a NFC module operable to group ones of the plurality of tags based on at least one commonality of the group; a display operable to display the group to subject the group to user action.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one commonality is a content of the tags.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one commonality is a type of the tags.
4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the at least one commonality is a provider of the tags.
5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein multiple ones of the plurality of tags are remote from the computer storage upon the display.
6 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the display comprises a touch responsive display, and wherein the user action comprises a touch.
7 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the grouping comprises solely a display group.
8 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the grouping comprises a group within the computer storage.
9 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the commonality comprises inclusion on the tag of a pointer to rich assets remote from ones of the tags.
10 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the display of the group comprises a tiling of screen captures from each content of the tags in the group.
11 . A method of subjecting a group of Near Field Communication (NFC) tags to an action, comprising:
receiving reads of a plurality of tags; grouping ones of the plurality of tags based on at least one commonality of the tags; displaying the group on a display device to subject the group to the action.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the commonality is a content of the tags.
13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the commonality is a type of the tags.
14 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the commonality is a provider of the tags. The device of claim 1 , wherein multiple ones of the plurality of tags are remote from the computer storage upon the display.
15 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the displaying comprises displaying on a touch responsive display, and wherein the action comprises a touch.
16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the grouping comprises solely a display group.
17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the grouping comprises a grouping within a computer storage component associated with at least one processor.
18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the commonality comprises inclusion on the tag of a pointer to rich assets remote from ones of the tags.
19 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the displaying of the group comprises a tiling of screen captures from each content of the tags in the group.
20 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the grouping comprises grouping responsive to a user input.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
