Abstract
A parallel wire cable is produced from a plurality of wires arranged in a bundle for use as a structural cable. Each wire in the plurality of wires is parallel to every other wire in the bundle, and each wire in the plurality of wires is tensioned to a tension value.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A manufacture, comprising:
a plurality of wires arranged in a bundle as a structural cable, each wire in the plurality of wires parallel to every other wire in the bundle, and each wire in the plurality of wires individually pulled to a tension value.
2 . The manufacture according to claim 1 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires has a length.
3 . The manufacture according to claim 1 , further comprising means for securing an outer circumference of the plurality of wires to maintain the tension value in each wire.
4 . The manufacture according to claim 1 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is metallic.
5 . The manufacture according to claim 1 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is individually tensioned to a nominal value.
6 . The manufacture according to claim 1 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is individually tensioned to a variance about the tension value.
7 . The manufacture according to claim 1 , further comprising an attachment at an end of the structural cable.
8 . A manufacture, comprising:
a plurality of wires arranged in a bundle as a structural cable, each wire in the plurality of wires parallel to every other wire in the bundle, each wire in the plurality of wires equal in length to every other wire in the bundle, and each wire in the plurality of wires sequentially pulled to a tension value.
9 . The manufacture according to claim 8 , further comprising a seizure of the plurality of wires.
10 . The manufacture according to claim 8 , further comprising seizures at multiple locations along the plurality of wires.
11 . The manufacture according to claim 8 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is metallic.
12 . The manufacture according to claim 8 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is individually tensioned to a nominal value.
13 . The manufacture according to claim 8 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is individually tensioned to a variance about the tension value.
14 . The manufacture according to claim 8 , further comprising an attachment at an end of the structural cable.
15 . A manufacture, comprising:
a plurality of wires arranged in a bundle as a structural cable, each wire in the plurality of wires parallel to every other wire in the bundle, each wire in the plurality of wires equal in length to every other wire in the bundle, and each wire in the plurality of wires separately pulled from all other wires to a tension value.
16 . The manufacture according to claim 15 , further comprising a seizure of the plurality of wires.
17 . The manufacture according to claim 15 , further comprising seizures at multiple locations along the plurality of wires.
18 . The manufacture according to claim 15 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is metallic.
19 . The manufacture according to claim 15 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is individually tensioned to a nominal value.
20 . The manufacture according to claim 15 , wherein each wire in the plurality of wires is individually tensioned to a variance about the tension value.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
