Abstract

A jewelry item having plurality of radially symmetrically oriented flared portions integrally continuously connected to a pair of opposing center portions. The center portions are mirror images of each other with convex surfaces. Peripheral edges of adjoining flared portions form multiple distinct display surfaces for stone mounting or other decorations.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A jewelry item comprising a hollow body having a center axis, a first center portion, a second center portion oriented in a spaced apart co-axial opposed relation to the first center portion, and a plurality of flared portions extending radially symmetrically between the first center portion and the second center portion. 
     
     
         2 . The jewelry item of  claim 1 , wherein the second center portion is a mirror image of the first center portion. 
     
     
         3 . The jewelry item of  claim 1 , said first center portion and the second center portion each comprise a convex plate. 
     
     
         4 . The jewelry item of  claim 1 , wherein each of the flared portions has an imaginary axis spaced at 120 degrees in relation to an axis of an adjoining flared portion. 
     
     
         5 . The jewelry item of  claim 1 , the first center portion and the second center portion each is integrally continuously connected to each of the plurality of the flared portions. 
     
     
         6 . The jewelry item of  claim 1 , each of said flared portions having a peripheral edge shared by an adjoining flared portion. 
     
     
         7 . The jewelry item of  claim 6 , said peripheral edge forming a continuous arcuate display surface. 
     
     
         8 . The jewelry item of  claim 7  comprising three separate display surfaces. 
     
     
         9 . The jewelry item of  claim 6 , said peripheral edge defining a border of a finger opening. 
     
     
         10 . The jewelry item of  claim 1  comprising three finger openings formed between adjoining flared portions. 
     
     
         11 . The jewelry item of  claim 1 , each of the flared portions having identical arcuate configuration. 
     
     
         12 . A jewelry ring comprising a hollow body having a first center portion, a second center portion oriented in a spaced apart co-axial opposed relation to the first center portion, a center axis extending through the first center portion and the second center portion, and a plurality of flared portions extending radially symmetrically between the first center portion and the second center portion, each flared portion having an imaginary axis extending at 120 degrees in relation to an imaginary axis of an adjoining flared portion. 
     
     
         13 . The jewelry ring of  claim 12 , wherein three separate finger openings are formed between the flared portions. 
     
     
         14 . The jewelry ring of  claim 12 , each of the flared portions being integrally continuously formed with the first center portion and the second center portion. 
     
     
         15 . The jewelry ring item of  claim 12 , each of said flared portions having a peripheral edge shared by an adjoining flared portion. 
     
     
         16 . The jewelry item of  claim 15 , said peripheral edge forming a continuous arcuate display surface. 
     
     
         17 . The jewelry item of  claim 16  comprising three separate display surfaces. 
     
     
         18 . The jewelry item of  claim 15 , said peripheral edge defining a border of a finger opening. 
     
     
         19 . The jewelry item of  claim 11 , each of the flared portions having identical arcuate configuration.
