Abstract

The invention relates to a vacuum packaging machine for producing an evacuated packaging of a product, which is disposed between an upper film and a lower film, and which can also be reliably used for thicker cover films or hard packaging. This is solved by means of a vacuum packaging machine which contains a forming station and at least one tool lifter ( 10 ) with tools, comprising an upper tool part ( 13 ) and a lower tool part ( 12 ) and a lifting system, which enables a first and a second lifting or closing movement, wherein at least one tool lifting cylinder ( 19 ) for a vertical lift of the lower tool part ( 12 ) as well as a cylinder shaft ( 15 ) passed through the lower tool part ( 12 ) and having a locking cam ( 16 ) is provided, and the cylinder shaft ( 15 ) is passed through an opening ( 17 ) of the lower tool part ( 12 ), the cross-section of said opening corresponding to that of the locking cam ( 16 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A vacuum packaging machine for producing an evacuated packaging of a product, which is disposed between an upper film and a lower film, wherein the vacuum packaging machine comprises at least one tool lifter ( 10 ) with tools, comprising an upper tool part ( 13 ) and a lower tool part ( 12 ) and a lifting system, which enables a first and a second lifting or closing movement,
characterised in that at least one tool lifting cylinder ( 19 ) for a vertical lift of the lower tool part ( 12 ) as well as a cylinder shaft ( 15 ), which is passed through the lower tool part ( 12 ) and on which a locking cam ( 16 ) is located, is provided, wherein the cylinder shaft ( 15 ) is passed through an opening ( 17 ) of the lower tool part ( 12 ), the cross-section of said opening corresponding to that of the locking cam ( 16 ).

2 . The vacuum packaging machine according to claim 1 , characterised in that two tool lifters ( 10 ) are provided, between which a loading area, or a working plane ( 2 ), is disposed.

3 . The vacuum packaging machine according to claim 1 or 2 , characterised in that at least one short-stroke cylinder ( 11 ) is also provided per tool lifter ( 10 ).

4 . The vacuum packaging machine according at least one of claims 1 to 3 , characterised in that tool closing cylinders ( 18 ) are provided for locking or unlocking the locking cam ( 16 ).

5 . A device for performing a tool lift, in particular on a packaging or deep-drawing machine, comprising at least one tool lifter ( 10 ) with tools, an upper tool part ( 13 ) and a lower tool part ( 12 ) as well as a lifting system, which enables a first and a second lifting or closing movement, characterised in that at least one tool lifting cylinder ( 19 ) for a vertical lift of the lower tool part ( 12 ) and a cylinder shaft ( 15 ), on which a locking cam ( 16 ) is located, is provided, wherein the cylinder shaft ( 15 ) is passed through an opening ( 17 ) of the lower tool part ( 12 ), the cross-section of said opening corresponding to that of the locking cam ( 16 ).

6 . A method for producing an evacuated packaging of a product, wherein the product is disposed between an upper film and a lower film, wherein a first and a second lifting or closing movement of the tool takes place for the forming and sealing of the packaging, in such a way that the first movement is a main movement, which is performed by means of a lifting arrangement, and the second movement is used for the closing/contact pressure of the tool,
characterised in that, in a first step, the lower tool part ( 12 ) is traversed upwards into a clamping position ( 12 ′) by means of tool lifting cylinder ( 19 ) and a locking cam ( 16 ) of a cylinder shaft ( 15 ) is then rotated through approx. 90° by means of tool closing cylinders ( 18 ) beneath an opening ( 17 ) in the lower tool part ( 12 ) and the lower tool part ( 12 ) is thus locked in this position and, in a further step, short-stroke cylinders ( 11 ) are acted upon in such a way that a complete high contact pressure against the upper tool part ( 13 ) is achieved.

7 . The method according to claim 6 , characterised in that the locking cam ( 16 ) can pass through an opening ( 17 ) in the lower tool part ( 12 ).

8 . The method according to claim 6 or 7 , characterised in that the locking cam ( 16 ) can rotate into a locking and passage position.

9 . The method according to at least one of claims 6 to 8 , characterised in that, in order to release the tool, the locking cam ( 16 ) is again rotated through approx. 90° after release of the contact pressure and can thus pass downwards through the opening ( 17 ).
