Method for Manufacturing a Laminate Product, Laminate Products Obtained Thereby and Device for Realizing the Method

Abstract

Method for manufacturing a laminate product comprising at least a laminate layer with a decor sheet, wherein, for forming the laminate layer, at least a decor sheet is formed by providing in a decor application process a decor in the form of a motif on a decor carrier, wherein this decor carrier consists of a continuous material web, wherein the decor is applied by means of one or more digital printers and wherein the global decor during the processing of the material web is controlled in a varying manner, by means of controlling the one or more printers, as a function of varying external data.

1 . A method for manufacturing a laminate product comprising at least a laminate layer with a decor sheet, wherein, for forming the laminate layer the method comprising at least the steps of:
 providing a decor carrier, wherein the decor carrier is a pre-fixed paper or pre-fixed material on the basis of paper; and   forming at least a decor sheet by providing in a decor application process a decor in the form of a motif on said decor carrier.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the pre-fixed paper or the pre-fixed material is a decor carrier having undergone a resin application process before the decor application process. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the decor carrier is partially resonated before the decor application process. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the resin application process is performed on at least one side of the decor carrier. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 4 , wherein the decor application process is performed on an opposite side of the decor carrier. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the resin application process is followed by drying. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the resin application process and the decor application process are performed in-line with each other. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising the step of forming impressions defining a registered embossed surface in accordance with the decor. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the decor is applied on the decor carrier by means of at least one digital printing device or digital printing unit. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the decor is applied on the decor carrier by means of at least an inkjet printer. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein for applying the decor, the method further comprising the steps of applying a printing unit allowing that the printed motif is controlled instantaneously by a digitally controlled printing unit, and wherein the control of the decor application process provides for an alteration in the printed motif. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising the step of providing the decor sheet directly or indirectly on a substrate, after which the actual laminate floor panel is formed from the substrate including at least the decor sheet. 
     
     
         13 . A floor panel, wherein the panel is obtained according to the method of  claim 1 .
