Consumer product package

Abstract

A consumer product package comprising a tub comprising a base and a perimeter wall defining a cavity, the base comprising at least two projections extending from the base within the cavity, the at least two projections spaced apart from the perimeter wall; and a consumer product disposed within the cavity such that each of the at least two projections define a recessed portion to receive the consumer product, wherein the base comprises a secondary projection having a height different than a height of each of the at least two projections, the secondary projection free of contact from the consumer product.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A consumer product package comprising:
 a tub comprising a base and a perimeter wall defining a cavity, the base comprising at least two projections extending from the base within the cavity, the at least two projections spaced apart from the perimeter wall; and   a consumer product disposed within the cavity such that each of the at least two projections define a recessed portion to receive the consumer product,   wherein the base comprises a secondary projection having a height different than a height of each of the at least two projections, the secondary projection free of contact from the consumer product.   
     
     
         2 . The consumer product package of  claim 1 , wherein the secondary projection is integrally formed with the base. 
     
     
         3 . The consumer product package of  claim 2 , wherein the secondary projection comprises a plurality of secondary projections, a height of each of the secondary projections being equal in height. 
     
     
         4 . The consumer product package of  claim 3 , wherein each of the plurality of secondary projections is spaced apart from one another. 
     
     
         5 . The consumer product package of  claim 1 , wherein the tub further comprises a top surface and the perimeter wall comprises an exterior surface, the exterior surface comprising opposing side walls each forming a non-perpendicular angle with the top surface. 
     
     
         6 . The consumer product package of  claim 5 , wherein the opposing side walls are generally parallel. 
     
     
         7 . The consumer product package of  claim 1 , wherein one interior side wall of the perimeter wall is non-linear. 
     
     
         8 . The consumer product package of  claim 7 , wherein the one side of the perimeter wall comprises a recessed portion having a height lower than a top surface of the tub. 
     
     
         9 . The consumer product package of  claim 1 , wherein each interior side wall of the perimeter wall is non-linear. 
     
     
         10 . The consumer product package of  claim 1 , wherein the tub is made from fiber. 
     
     
         11 . A consumer product package comprising:
 a tub comprising:
 a top surface, 
 a base, and 
 a perimeter wall defining a cavity, the perimeter wall having at least one portion extending into the cavity, the at least one portion comprising a recessed portion, the recessed portion having a height lower than the top surface. 
   
     
     
         12 . The consumer product package of  claim 11 , wherein the recessed portion is integrally formed with the perimeter wall. 
     
     
         13 . The consumer product package of  claim 11 , wherein the base comprises at least two projections extending from the base within the cavity, the at least two projections spaced apart from the perimeter wall, wherein the at least two projections are integrally formed with the base. 
     
     
         14 . The consumer product package of  claim 13  further comprising a consumer product disposed within the cavity such that each of the at least two projections define a recessed portion to receive the consumer product. 
     
     
         15 . The consumer product package of  claim 14 , wherein the base further comprises a secondary projection having a height different than a height of each of the at least two projections, the secondary projection free of contact from the consumer product and integrally formed with the base and the at least two projections. 
     
     
         16 . The consumer product package of  claim 15 , wherein the secondary projection comprises a plurality of secondary projections, a height of each of the secondary projections being equal in height. 
     
     
         17 . The consumer product package of  claim 16 , wherein each of the plurality of secondary projections is spaced apart from one another. 
     
     
         18 . The consumer product package of  claim 11 , wherein the perimeter wall comprises an exterior surface, the exterior surface comprising opposing side walls each forming a non-perpendicular angle with the top surface. 
     
     
         19 . The consumer product package of  claim 18 , wherein the opposing side walls are generally parallel. 
     
     
         20 . The consumer product package of  claim 11 , wherein one interior side wall of the perimeter wall is non-linear.
