I claim:

1 . A cleaning method for cleaning an installation processing foodstuffs, with which a nozzle for discharging a cleaning agent is moved by way of a robot arm ( 16 ) displaceable on a guide path ( 4 ), to the points of the installation ( 2 ) to be cleaned, and there the cleaning agent is discharged out of the nozzle onto the installation ( 2 ).

2 . A cleaning method according to claim 1 , with which, for cleaning the robot arm ( 16 ), this is displaced along the guide path ( 4 ) into a cleaning station, in which it is cleaned from the outside by way of cleaning nozzles.

3 . A cleaning method according to claim 1 , with which the robot arm ( 16 ) is applied for handling tasks, processing tasks or monitoring tasks in the installation, in the times in which it does not carry out cleaning tasks.
