Visual privacy garment

Abstract

A woman's visual privacy garment presents a smooth appearance over the vaginal area. The garment comprises a panty having a crotch portion provided with a layer of thin, flexible semi-rigid material that presents a smooth outer surface and overlies the vaginal area of the wearer, and a second layer of absorbent material

1 . A woman's article of clothing, comprising:
 a pair of leg openings;   a frontal portion disposed between the pair of leg openings and extending over at least a portion of a crotch of a wearer;   a first layer of pliable material adjacent an inner surface of the frontal portion, the first layer extending over only a vaginal area of a wearer; and   a second layer of material secured to the inner surface of the frontal portion and overlying the first layer of material;   wherein the first and second layers of material are each generally triangular-shaped.   
     
     
         2 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the second layer of material and the inner surface of the frontal portion define a space therebetween for holding the first layer of material. 
     
     
         3 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the first layer comprises a plurality of spaced perforations therein. 
     
     
         4 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the first layer comprises neoprene. 
     
     
         5 . The article of  claim 1 , wherein the first layer has a thickness of 1/16 inch or less. 
     
     
         6 . A woman's article of clothing, comprising:
 a pair of leg openings;   a frontal portion disposed between the pair of leg openings and extending over at least a portion of a crotch of a wearer;   a first layer of pliable material adjacent an inner surface of the frontal portion; and   a second layer of material secured to the inner surface of the frontal portion and overlying the first layer of material, wherein the second layer of material and the inner surface of the frontal portion define a space therebetween for holding the first layer of material;   wherein the first and second layers of material are each generally triangular-shaped.   
     
     
         7 . The article of  claim 6 , wherein the first layer extends over only a vaginal area of a wearer. 
     
     
         8 . The article of  claim 6 , wherein the first layer comprises a plurality of spaced perforations therein. 
     
     
         9 . The article of  claim 6 , wherein the first layer comprises neoprene. 
     
     
         10 . The article of  claim 6 , wherein the first layer has a thickness of 1/16 inch or less. 
     
     
         11 . A woman's article of clothing, comprising:
 a pair of leg openings;   a frontal portion disposed between the pair of leg openings and extending over at least a portion of a crotch of a wearer;   a first layer of pliable material adjacent an inner surface of the frontal portion, the first layer extending over only a vaginal area of a wearer; and   a second layer of material secured to the inner surface of the frontal portion and overlying the first layer of material, wherein the second layer of material and the inner surface of the frontal portion define a space therebetween for holding the first layer of material.   
     
     
         12 . The article of  claim 11 , wherein the first and second layers of material are each generally triangular-shaped. 
     
     
         13 . The article of  claim 11 , wherein the first layer comprises a plurality of spaced perforations therein. 
     
     
         14 . The article of  claim 11 , wherein the first layer comprises neoprene. 
     
     
         15 . The article of  claim 11 , wherein the first layer has a thickness of 1/16 inch or less. 
     
     
         16 . A woman's article of clothing, comprising:
 a pair of leg openings;   a frontal portion disposed between the pair of leg openings and extending over at least a portion of a crotch of a wearer;   a first layer of pliable material adjacent an inner surface of the frontal portion, the first layer extending over only a vaginal area of a wearer; and   a second layer of material secured to the inner surface of the frontal portion and overlying the first layer of material, wherein the second layer of material and the inner surface of the frontal portion define a space therebetween for holding the first layer of material;   wherein the first and second layers of material are each generally triangular-shaped.   
     
     
         17 . The article of  claim 16 , wherein the first layer comprises a plurality of spaced perforations therein 
     
     
         18 . The article of  claim 16 , wherein the first layer comprises neoprene. 
     
     
         19 . The article of  claim 16 , wherein the first layer has a thickness of 1/16 inch or less.
