Abstract

Method and systems for monetizing financial brokerage accounts are disclosed. One aspect for certain embodiments includes mining data from financial brokerage accounts and monetizing the mined data and providing to the customer an unlimited number of free trades for an unlimited period of time.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A computer system for monetizing financial brokerage accounts, the computer system comprising:
 at least one computer module for:
 mining data from a financial brokerage account of a customer; 
 monetizing the mined data; and 
 providing to the customer an unlimited number of free trades for an unlimited period of time, wherein the at least one computer module monetizes the mined data by performing data analytics including generating rules to learn customer behavior and to predict customer behavior. 
   
     
     
         2 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein free trades comprise commission-free trades. 
     
     
         3 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein free trades comprise eliminating a spread between bid and ask price. 
     
     
         4 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein free trades comprise no load on mutual fund transactions. 
     
     
         5 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein free trades comprise eliminating principal's fees on fixed income securities transactions. 
     
     
         6 . The computer system of  claim 1 , wherein free trades comprise eliminating principal's fees on equity securities transactions. 
     
     
         7 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including one or more of: free check writing, and free bill payments. 
     
     
         8 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating annual fees for the customer's account. 
     
     
         9 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating transfer fees for the customer's account. 
     
     
         10 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including one or more of: no fee for debit card transactions, and no fee for credit card cash advances. 
     
     
         11 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating maintenance fees on the customer's retirement account. 
     
     
         12 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating fees for market data services. 
     
     
         13 . The computer system of  claim 12 , wherein market data services comprise: real time quotes, and streaming quotes. 
     
     
         14 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating maintenance fees for employee stock option plans. 
     
     
         15 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating wire transfer fees for the customer's account. 
     
     
         16 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating ATM fees for the customer's account. 
     
     
         17 . The computer system of  claim 1 , in addition to free trades further including eliminating ACH fees. 
     
     
         18 . The computer system of  claim 1 , further comprises providing free trades to referral clients referred by the customer.
