Image forming apparatus and computer readable medium storing program

Abstract

An image forming apparatus includes: a memory that memorizes a storage area storing document data; a receiving unit that receives an instruction for creating a second storage area corresponding to a first storage area created by another image forming apparatus; and a creating unit that creates the second storage area associated with information for identifying another image forming apparatus in the memory when the receiving unit receives the instruction to create the second storage area.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An image forming apparatus connected to another image forming apparatus via a network, the image forming apparatus comprising:
 a display that displays first information indicating the other image forming apparatus and second information indicating the image forming apparatus, and displays a list of document data stored in the storage area of the other image forming apparatus, in response to selection of the first information indicating the other image forming apparatus;   an instruction receiving unit that receives an instruction specifying document data, from the displayed list of the document data, to be deleted; and   a transmitting unit that transmits a delete instruction to delete the document data specified in the instruction received by the instruction receiving unit, to the other image forming apparatus.   
     
     
         2 . An image forming apparatus connected to another image forming apparatus via a network, the image forming apparatus comprising:
 a memory that stores first document data;   an image output unit configured to output second document data stored in the other image forming apparatus or the first document data stored in the memory on a recording medium;   a display that displays first information indicating the other image forming apparatus and second information indicating the image forming apparatus, and displays a list of document data stored in the storage area of the other image forming apparatus, in response to selection of the first information indicating the other image forming apparatus;   an instruction receiving unit that receives an instruction specifying document data, from the displayed list of the document data, to be output; and   a data receiving unit that receives, from the other image forming apparatus, data for outputting the document data specified in the instruction received by the instruction receiving unit.   
     
     
         3 . An image forming apparatus connected to another image forming apparatus via a network, the other image forming apparatus storing first document data, the image forming apparatus comprising:
 a memory that stores second document data;   an image output unit configured to output the first document data stored in the other image forming apparatus or the second document data stored in the memory;   a transmitting unit that transmits a requirement for information of the first document data stored in the other image forming apparatus;   a data receiving unit that receives the information of the first document data stored in the other image forming apparatus;   a display that displays the received information as a list; and   an instruction receiving unit the receives an instruction specifying document data, from the displayed list, to be output by the image forming apparatus.   
     
     
         4 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein the instruction receiving unit receives an instruction specifying document data, from the displayed list of the document data, to be deleted.
