Abstract

A hair curling device includes a hair roller adapted to provide the hair wrapped and attached on it, and a sheath adapted for surrounding the hair roller. The hair roller includes a spiral groove formed on a side edge thereof, extending between first and second ends thereof and adapted for receiving the hair. Thus, the hair wrapped around and received in the groove is unable to slide with respect to the side edge of the hair roller, so that the hair curling device not only can save time but also can control the curvature of the hair easily.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . (canceled)

         2 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the sheath has resilience and is attached with the hair roller, with the sheath changed in elastic deformation with respect to outlines of the hair roller to surround and regularly abut against the hair roller to cause the hair to be securely received in the spiral groove.

         3 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein one of the first and second ends of the hair roller is firmly coupled with an end of the sheath.

         4 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the hair roller is formed as a cylinder.

         5 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the side edge extends and expands from the first end to the second end to form the hair roller as a cone.

         6 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein a side portion extends between two opposite ends of the sheath and abuts against the side edge, wherein the side portion includes a plurality of first and second strings interlacing to each other to form a plurality of quadrilateral meshes.

         7 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the sheath includes a side portion extending between first and second annular portions thereof and made from elastic fiber cloth.

         8 . The hair curling device as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein the first and second ends respectively include first and second end faces, with a periphery of the first end face and a periphery of the second end face respectively surrounded and delimited by the side edge;
 wherein the first and second annular portions are disposed at two opposite ends of the sheath and extend along a longitudinal axis of the sheath, with a periphery of the first annular portion and a periphery of the second annular portion respectively surrounded and delimited by the side portion, with the peripheries of the first and second end faces respectively received in and abutted against by the first and second annular portions.

         9 . The hair curling device as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the peripheries of the first and second end faces respectively define first and second circumferences, wherein a periphery of the side edge defines a third circumference, wherein inner peripheries of the first and second annular portions respectively define fourth and fifth circumferences, wherein an inner periphery of the side portion defines a sixth circumference, wherein the fourth circumference is less than the first circumference, wherein the fifth circumference is less than the second circumference, and wherein the sixth circumference is less than the third circumference.

         10 . The hair curling device for curling hair comprising:
 a hair roller including first and second ends disposed at two opposite ends thereof, a side edge extending between and connected with the first and second ends, and a spiral groove formed on the side edge extending between the first and second ends and adapted for receiving the hair, wherein the spiral groove includes an arc shaped bottom adapted for receiving the hair and a plurality of turning sections arranged to space the side edge, with each two of the turning sections defining a longitudinal distance along the side edge, with a diameter of the arc shaped bottom being generally equal to the longitudinal distance; and a sheath surrounding the hair roller to keep the hair located in the spiral groove securely attached to the hair roller.

         11 . A hair curling device comprising:
 a hair roller including first and second ends disposed at two opposite ends thereof, a side edge extending between and connected with the first and second ends, and a spiral groove formed on the side edge, extending between the first and second ends and adapted for receiving the hair, wherein the spiral groove includes an arc shaped bottom adapted for receiving the hair and a plurality of turning sections arranged to space the side edge, with each two of the turning sections defining a longitudinal distance along the side edge, with a diameter of the arc shaped bottom being generally equal to the longitudinal distance.
