Abstract

The present invention relates to a template for the application of permanent and conventional eyebrow make-up. The template has a passage formed in the shape of a human eyebrow, and has either adhesive coating on one side to hold to the forehead or uses an elastic band to mount. A horizontal control line and vertical control lines are formed in the template to provide a reference guide to correspond to lines drawn near the eyebrows of the face by a cosmetic make-up specialist during the application process. Apertures in the template are positioned for the marking of registration points.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . A template for the application of eyebrow makeup, comprising:
a base, with an upper surface and a lower surface, having an upper edge, a lower edge and opposed first and second outer edges, and having a generally arcuately shaped passage comprised of a trunk section, an arch section, and a tail section, in the form of an eyebrow formed therethrough; a first vertical control line integrally formed in the base extending transversely from the lower edge to the upper edge juxtaposed the trunk section of the passage; a second vertical control line integrally formed in the base extending transversely from the lower edge to the upper edge juxtaposed the tail section of the passage; a horizontal control line formed extending longitudinally from the first outer edge to the second outer edge, and being perpendicular to, and intersecting with, the vertical control lines; and whereby the base further has a first aperture formed therethrough juxtaposed the intersection of the first vertical control line and the horizontal control line, and a second aperture formed therethrough juxtaposed the intersection of the second vertical control line and the horizontal control line.

2 . The template as set forth in claim 1 , further having a pair of apertures formed therethrough juxtaposed the intersection of the control lines.

3 . The template as set forth in claim 1 , further comprising a covering layer with a tab, and whereby adhesive material is affixed to the lower surface of the base and the covering layer is removeably attached to the base.

4 . A template for the application of eyebrow makeup, comprising:
a base, with an upper surface and a lower surface, having an upper edge, a lower edge and opposed first and second outer edges, and having a generally arcuately shaped passage comprised of a trunk section, an arch section, and a tail section, in the form of an eyebrow formed therethrough; a plurality of strands is formed traversing the passage with spaces defined therebetween; a first vertical control line integrally formed in the base extending transversely from the lower edge to the upper edge juxtaposed the trunk section of the passage; a second vertical control line integrally formed in the base extending transversely from the lower edge to the upper edge juxtaposed the tail section of the passage; a horizontal control line formed extending longitudinally from the first outer edge to the second outer edge, and being perpendicular to, and intersecting with, the vertical control lines; and whereby the base further has a first aperture formed therethrough juxtaposed the intersection of the first vertical control line and the horizontal control line, and a second aperture formed therethrough juxtaposed the intersection of the second vertical control line and the horizontal control line.

5 . The template as set forth in claim 4 , further comprising a pair of vertical control lines integrally formed in the base extending transversely from the lower edge to the upper edge and having a horizontal control line formed extending longitudinally from the first outer edge to the second outer edge, and being perpendicular to, and intersecting with, the vertical control lines.

6 . The template as set forth in claim 1 , whereby the outer edges of the base are generally round in shape.
