Knee protection pocket two

Abstract

The invention entitled Knee Protection Pocket Two is a knee pocket arrangement attached to a pant garment safeguarding the exterior knee portion of each pant leg with identical shaped pocket designs. A locking zipper opens and closes the knee pocket arrangement allowing a comfort pad to be implanted or removed at will. The said invention provides the knee and the lower thigh area added comfort and added protection, from above the shin to the lower part of the thigh containing a larger durable panel below the locking zipper and a smaller durable panel above the locking zipper, said smaller durable panel above the locking zipper accommodates a portion of the comfort pad above the locking zipper.

A Knee Pocket protection system adapted to protect the knees from rigid surfaces during Kneeling, wherein the said invention comprises: a pair of pants having two pant legs that extend to the ankles; each of the two said pant legs has a smaller top durable panel and a larger bottom durable panel with perimeter edges stitched to the knee and the lower part of the thigh portion thereof with said bottom and said side perimeter edges of said larger bottom durable panel stitched to the knee portion thereof with said top perimeter edge unattached; said smaller top durable panel has said top and said side perimeter edges stitched to the lower part of the thigh portion extending down into the knee portion thereof with said bottom perimeter edge unattached;
 a bottom edge tape of a locking zipper is stitched to the said top perimeter edge of the said larger bottom durable panel and a top edge tape of said locking zipper is stitched to the said bottom perimeter edge of said smaller top durable panel thereof with said side perimeter edges of said locking zipper stitched to the said pant leg defining a garment knee pocket; said locking zipper extends substantially full width of the said garment knee pocket and defines a opening therethrough;   a dimensional comfort pad is positioned through the opening of said locking zipper of said garment knee pocket and has an upper edge of said comfort pad extending substantially above said locking zipper while an outer surface thereof faces an interior surface of said larger bottom durable panel and said smaller top durable panel and toward the said top edge of said smaller top durable panel when fastened.   
     
     
         2 . The Knee pocket protection system in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the said garment knee pocket extends approximately from the lower part of the thigh to above the shin area without being attached to the seams of the said pair of pants. 
     
     
         3 . The Knee pocket protection system in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein said larger bottom durable panel and said smaller top durable panel are made of leather. 
     
     
         4 . The Knee pocket protection system in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein said top edge tape and said bottom edge tape of said locking zipper extend equally in length. 
     
     
         5 . The Knee pocket protection system in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the dimensioned said comfort pad is made of various thickness.
