What is claimed is:

. A device for mounting a television on a wall, said device comprising an elongated body being bent to form two opposing ends, at least a portion of a first end is threaded and at least a portion of a second end being smooth, said bent body forming an angle from about twenty degrees to about seventy degrees.

. The device of claim 1 wherein said body comprises a center and said body is bent.

. The device of claim 1 wherein said body comprises a center and said body is bent adjacent to said center.

. The device of claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said first end of said body is designed to be inserted into an aperture on a back side of a television.

. The device of claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said second end of said body is designed to be inserted into an aperture of a wall.

. The device of claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said second end of said body is designed to be inserted into an aperture of a wall and said first end is designed to protrude from the wall during an installed position.

. The device of claim 6 wherein said first end is generally perpendicular to the wall during said installed position.

. The device of claim 7 wherein said second end points generally downward during said installed position.

. The device of claim 1 wherein each of said opposing ends of said body has a tip.

. The device of claim 9 wherein said tip of said second end is flat.

. The device of claim 9 wherein said tip of said second end is sharp.

. The device of claim 1 wherein said body is generally cylindrical.

. The device of claim 1 wherein said body has a diameter from about one to about twenty millimeters.

. The device of claim 13 wherein said body has a diameter in a range between about three and about nine millimeters.

. The device of claim 6 wherein said second end of said body comprises a tip, the wall having a front side and a rear side, said second end being situated on the rear side of the wall, said first end of said body being designed to protrude from the front side of the wall.

. The device of claim 15 wherein said tip of said second end of said body contacts the rear side of the wall during said installed position.

. The device of claim 1 wherein said body is bent at about forty-five degrees.

. The device of claim 1 further comprising a nut, said nut designed to secure said device to the television during an installed position.

. A mounting device comprising a generally cylindrical body, said body being angled to form two opposing ends, said device is designed to mount a television to a wall, the television having a back side, the wall having front and rear sides, a first end of said body being designed to be inserted into an aperture on the back side of the television and a second end being designed to be inserted into an aperture of the wall and situated on the rear side of the wall during an installed position.

. The device of claim 19 wherein angle formed by said opposing ends is from about twenty degrees to about seventy degrees.

. The device of claim 19 wherein said first end is generally perpendicular to the wall during said installed position.

. The device of claim 19 wherein said second end points in a generally downward during said installed position.

. The device of claim 19 wherein at least a portion of said first end of said body comprises grooves.

. The device of claim 19 wherein at least a portion of said second end of said body is generally smooth.

. The device of claim 19 wherein said body has a diameter from about one to about twenty millimeters.

. The device of claim 19 further comprising a nut, said nut designed to secure said device to the television during said installed position.

.
