Claims

Abstract

A tape processing apparatus has a print feeding section that holds a printing tape to feed forward, a tape cutter that is provided ahead of the print feeding section in a feeding direction and cuts off a rear end of a printed portion of the printing tape in a width direction thereof, and a tape ejection section that opens to apparatus cases and that can eject a fed printing tape forward in the feeding direction and can eject the printing tape of which terminal end passes through the print feeding section downward.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A tape processing apparatus comprising:
 a tape feeding section that holds a tape to feed forward;   a cut section that is provided ahead of the tape feeding section in a feeding direction and cuts off a rear end of a processed portion of the tape in a width direction of the tape; and   a tape ejection section that opens to an apparatus case and that can eject a fed tape forward in the feeding direction and can eject the tape of which terminal end passes through the tape feeding section downward.   
     
     
         2 . The tape processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the tape feeding section feeds the tape in a vertical orientation with the width direction set as a top-and-bottom direction, and the tape ejection section is formed in a slit shape having a width corresponding to thickness of the tape. 
     
     
         3 . The tape processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein a set section in which one width end of the tape is set is formed at one width end of a feeding path on which the tape is fed, the apparatus case has a main body case formed with the set section at a bottom surface side and a lid case that closes the bottom surface side of the main body case, and the tape ejection section has a main body side ejection section that is located at a downstream end in the feeding direction of the set section and is formed on the main body case and a lid side ejection section that coincides with the main body side ejection section, is located at the bottom surface side of the set section and is formed on the lid case.
