Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of decreasing eotaxin levels in a human at risk for or experiencing symptoms of a disease or condition characterized by increased levels of eotaxin comprising: administering an eotaxin-lowering effective amount of 25-OH D3 and observing or appreciating the lessening of the symptoms or the disease or condition.
. A method according to claim 1 , further comprising administering Vitamin D.
. A method according to claim 1 wherein the administering is with a pharmaceutical formulation
. A method according to claim 1 wherein the administering is with a food or nutraceutical.
. A method according to claim 1 wherein the disease or condition is selected from the group consisting of: allergic diseases, inflammatory disorders, non-allergic inflammation and malignancies.
. A method according to claim 5 wherein the disease or condition is selected from the group consisting of: asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal polyps, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, gastric symptoms due to food allergies, gastric parasitic infections, and gastro-esophageal reflux.
. Use of 25-OH D3 to manufacture a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical to maintain healthy levels of eotaxin or to reduce levels of eotaxin to healthy levels in a human at risk for or experiencing symptoms of a disease or condition characterized by increased levels of eotaxin.
. Use according to claim 7 , in combination with Vitamin D.
. Use according to claim 7 wherein the use is in the manufacture of a medicament.
. Use according to claim 7 wherein the use is in the maufacture of a food or nutraceutical.
. Use according to claim 7 wherein the disease is allergic diseases, inflammatory disorders, non-allergic inflammation and malignancies.
. Use according to claim 7 wherein the disease or condition is selected from the group consisting of: asthma, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, nasal polyps, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, gastric symptoms due to food allergies, gastric parasitic infections, and gastro-esophageal reflux.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
