Abstract
An automatic water leveling device for a swimming pool comprising: a cylinder attached to an edge of the swimming pool; a float suspended from a line within the cylinder, where the float rests upon the water within the cylinder; a magnetic contact attached to the float; drain magnets attached towards the top of the cylinder; and fill magnets attached toward the bottom of the cylinder. The automatic water leveling device adjusts the water levels within the swimming pool by activating a drain or spigot associated with the pool. As water levels rise, the float and magnetic contact meet the drain magnets to activate a system to drain the swimming pool. As the water levels lower, the float and magnetic contact meet the fill magnets to activate the system to fill the swimming pool. The system continues to drain or fill the swimming pool until the original water level is achieved.

1 . An automatic water leveling device for a swimming pool, where the automatic water leveling device comprises:
a cylinder attached to an edge of the swimming pool and submerged within the water, where the cylinder allows water to freely flow in and out of a bottom opening of the cylinder; a float suspended from a line within the cylinder, where the float rests upon the water level within the cylinder at an ideal water level; a magnetic contact attached to the float; at least one drain magnet attached to an upper portion of the cylinder, where the drain magnet includes a low voltage wire; and at least one fill magnet attached to a lower portion of the cylinder, where the fill magnet includes a low voltage wire, wherein when the swimming pool water level rises the water level raises within the cylinder to a drain water level, where at the drain water level the float and magnetic contact meet the drain magnets creating a first connection, where first connection triggers the wire within the drain magnet to activate a system to drain the swimming pool, and wherein when the swimming pool water level lowers the water level lowers within the cylinder to a fill water level, where at the fill water level the float and magnetic contact meet the fill magnets creating a second connection, where the second connection triggers the wire within the fill magnet to activate the system to fill the swimming pool.
2 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 1 , where the system includes a radio controlled sender to wirelessly activate one of at least a servo associated with a spigot to fill the swimming pool and a servo associated with a pool drain to drain the swimming pool.
3 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 1 , where the system continues to do one of at least drains and fills the swimming pool until the ideal water level is achieved.
4 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 1 , where the cylinder is secured within a housing.
5 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 2 , where the housing is filled with foam.
6 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 4 , where the housing is secured to the edge of the swimming pool with a set of fasteners.
7 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 6 , where the fasteners are one of at least clips, bolts, clamps and suction cups.
8 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 1 , where the drain magnets and the fills magnets are adjustable to allow a user to adjust the drain water level and the fill water level.
9 . The automatic water leveling device according to claim 1 , where the line is taut attached to the float to allow the float to move freely upon the water.
