Abstract
A smart water pump includes a housing ( 5 ). An outlet box cover ( 13 ) is arranged on the top of the housing ( 5 ), and a power plug ( 1 ) is arranged at an upper part of the outlet box cover ( 13 ). A circuit board ( 2 ) is arranged within the housing ( 5 ); a rotor ( 4 ) and a stator ( 6 ) are arranged under the circuit board ( 2 ). A motor front cover ( 7 ) is arranged at a lower part of the housing ( 5 ); a turbine housing ( 8 ) is arranged under the motor front cover ( 7 ); an impeller ( 10 ) is arranged within the turbine housing ( 8 ), and the impeller ( 10 ) shares a rotary shaft ( 3 ) with the rotor ( 4 ). A water outflow pipe ( 14 ) is arranged on one side of the housing ( 5 ), and a water level sensor ( 12 ) is arranged on the other side of the housing ( 5 ). The water level sensor ( 12 ) includes a sensor box ( 15 ). A sensing probe is arranged on the sensor box ( 15 ), and includes a high water level probe ( 16 ), a low water level probe ( 17 ), and a ground probe ( 18 ). The high water level probe ( 16 ) is shorter than the low water level probe ( 17 ), and the low water level probe ( 17 ) is shorter than the ground probe ( 18 ). Water pumps employing the water level sensor ( 12 ) can control the rotation of the water pump on the basis of the water level, ameliorating a common scenario with existing water pumps in which the water pump does not work when water is available and works when water is unavailable.

The smart water pump according to claim 1 , wherein the sensing probe comprises a high water level probe ( 16 ), a low water level probe ( 17 ), and a ground probe ( 18 ); the high water level probe ( 16 ) is shorter than the low water level probe ( 17 ), and the low water level probe ( 17 ) is shorter than the ground probe ( 18 ).
