Presentation Box for Chocolates or other Consumables

Abstract

A presentation box for the temporary storage of one or more consumables, the presentation box having a sound mechanism that is activated by a triggering event which, in some contemplated embodiments, comprises the opening of the lid of the presentation box.

1 . A presentation box for the presentation and temporary storage of one or more consumables to a receiver, the container comprising:
 a base portion, the base portion comprising: a base, a plurality of side walls and an internal chamber into which the one or more consumables are placed;   a lid, the lid comprising a hinge and a top; and   a sound mechanism;   wherein the lid is connected to a portion of the plurality of sidewalls by the hinge; and   wherein the sound mechanism is activated by a triggering event.   
     
     
         2 . The presentation box of  claim 1 , wherein the hinge comprises a flexible fold point in the plurality of side walls. 
     
     
         3 . The presentation box of  claim 1 , wherein the sound mechanism is located within the plurality of sidewalls. 
     
     
         4 . The presentation box of  claim 1 , wherein the presentation box further comprises an insert, the insert being placed into the internal chamber for the storage of the one or more consumables. 
     
     
         5 . The presentation box of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more consumables are comprised of prepackaged solid chocolate bars. 
     
     
         6 . The presentation box of  claim 1 , wherein the triggering event is chosen from the group consisting of: opening of the lid of the box, turning a mechanical switch on/off, and removing a consumable from the presentation box. 
     
     
         7 . The presentation box of  claim 6 , wherein a trigger switch as a prerequisite for the triggering event to activate the sound mechanism. 
     
     
         8 . The presentation box of  claim 1 , wherein the sound mechanism is comprised of:
 a power source;   at least one speaker;   onboard memory; and   a switch.   
     
     
         9 . The presentation box of  claim 8 , wherein the sound mechanism further comprises a microphone for the recording of songs. 
     
     
         10 . The presentation box of  claim 8 , wherein the sound mechanism includes a video device, the video device having a display embedded in the lid.
