Abstract
A hitch pin assembly for horizontal adjustment of shelves in a display stand is provided. Conventional coupling in the vertical axial direction is transferred to a coupling system in the horizontal axial direction. A shelf receives end pins with split arrow horizontally and externally extended for fitting in female receptacle on the inner surface of the side walls or columns of the display stand. To mount the display stand, the side walls or columns are pressed inwards horizontally, so that, the edge exceeds the end of the pin which deforms and returns, causing the initial coupling on one side of the structure to lock. The same procedure is performed on the opposite structure. The final assembly of the shelves is made with actions that do not interfere with the coupling of both sides of the structure and without requiring any lateral adjustments that might cause looseness.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 ) A hitch pin assembly formed by a display stand with a back wall and side walls, provided with hinged shelves or structured by columns with attachable shelves characterized along its front edge, extended externally from its ends, a pair of pins, composed each by one arrow-shaped split tip with two peripheral angular stoppers delimited by a central groove, as already stated pins corresponding to female housings provided with beveled edges inward in shape of a ramp, along its rail.
2 ) The hitch pin assembly according to claim 1 the hinged or attachable shelves are characterized by optionally having, along its front edge, a extension rule of the hollow body with holes and open ends, insert receptors of the body of the respective pins, in sliding and adjustable system, each aligned by their holes to holes and locked by nut and screw.
3 ) A locking system with horizontal adjustment of shelves in display stands according to claim 1 upon assembling of the display stand for use after initial position of shelves, aligned with their pins to the housings, characterized by inwardly pressure in horizontal direction from the side walls or from the columns of the display stand, so that the peripheral angular stoppers are deformed from the groove when overriding, touching the beveled edges of the rail of the female housing so that the afore mentioned pins enter its arrow-shaped split tip which then opens from the return of its peripheral stoppers, locking itself behind beveled edges inside the rail of the female housing, locking the shelf.
4 ) A locking system with horizontal adjustment of shelves in display stands according to claim 3 , characterized by the coupling procedure in the horizontal direction performed on one side of the display stand to be conducted without any interference or consequences on the opposite side of the display stand for the coupling between the pin and the female housing for locking the shelf.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
